The girl looks like a million bucks and she’s fun to look at.

She’s one of those people who wears her hairstyle so well that it makes you start wondering, “I wonder if I could…?” The answer is probably not. But I will try looking that fierce in a fancier version of an elderly woman’s eyeglass chain.

I want that jacket and skirt combo, too. A pencil skirt and a waist-length, belted jacket will bring out the curves on any body.

Matter of fact, I’d take both of their outfits. One for dinner and drinks, and the other for running errands.

Hold fast. Crotchless leggings? That is wayyyy TMI for me.

I love her style and all its extremes, but honey, those leggings are burning holes through my retinas. Loud and wrong!

Dayyyym. Our First Lady is hot! I mean, she is a classy and lovely woman and we can all learn a lot from her.

Political blogs are going to freak out about her wearing another sleeveless dress. (She’s amazing and it’s cool to have a stylish First Lady and all, but OMG sleeveless!) Give me a break! Lady’s got taste.

Shoot, I’m starting to think she loves her biceps as much as America does. And I love that particular cut, where it narrows a bit at the shoulders. If you’ve got great shoulders (and Shelle does), it really shows them off.

Can I call her Shelle? How did Barack Obama land her? Oh yeah, his smile. Oh wait, that’s how he got me.

P.S. Seriously, on some Photography 101 ish, that curtain jacks up the whole composition. Don’t make people look like they have curtains/trees/etc. growing out of their heads. And photoshop the wrinke out of her dress and the flower blocking her hand. All three irk me. Now I’m off to do some push-ups. Some.

Only Kanye West could work the hell out of this roadkill wrapped around his neck. Personally, I think it’s a weird addition to an otherwise dapper outfit, but I feel you.

I still have a lot of love for Kanye despite his vanity because this man’s cockiness is endearing to me. It must be that he backs it up with quality. I love his style, musically and fashion-wise.

C’mon, wouldn’t you want to run around Paris Fashion Week with ‘Ye?

Aw, hold fast. I might have to clown him on his new hair. That bushy tail is not doing him any favors. It’s like a mullet, but … not? Should Kanye get a pass?

Maybe not, but she looked stunning.

Michelle’s dress, I loved it. I think it’s pretty and looks pretty on her.

I also thought it was very, very safe choice and a lil’ boring. It was nice, but nothing  breathtaking. Out of all those sketches, an all the options she must have had, I just hoped she’d pick something more … you know, hotter.

It was one step away from a regular, silky little black dress. Something brighter, or with a bit of glitter detail would have been nicer to me. Oh well. There’s always four years from now. Sigh.

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, leggings - those stretchy, skintight stand-ins for pants - refuse to die. Cotton, liquid, print, neon, stripped, rubber, denim …

We’ve seen it all.

Leggings have become as important to a girl’s wardrobe as her favorite pair of jeans. It’s like leggings achieved some sort of cult status or something. 

And, sadly, due to their rising popularity, new variations on the slippery and sleek look will most likely be introduced in the year ahead. Sigh. I’m so not looking forward to that.

But, if I were to own that same outfit, I’d leave the boots in the box, got creative with it, or added some color, split up the browns, something! It’s like a set. And fashionistas hate sets.

Michelle Obama’s January 20th threads may still be the hot topic, but rest assured all eyes will be on Barack Obama on the big day, which is expected to draw from 1 million to 4 million people to Washington.

The big debate: Suit or Tux?

Rumor has it … Obama plans to wear a tuxedo (the first he’s bought in 16 years) by Hart Schaffner Marx.

I’m not a big fan of tuxedos. Give me a good suit any day.

Tuxedos say one of three things to me …

“I rented this for prom.” “I will be your waiter this evening.” “My wife set me up.”

Someday I would like to see a president do something other than a tuxedo. I don’t know, a kilt or something or a suit even.

Seriously, suits should be brought back. Suits and fedoras and canes and vests and a long scarf…

I’m kidding. Cadillac Records overload. What I really mean … Can we bring back dressing up, period!

I think Beyonce looks like a big ol’ fake Barbie. Not sure if that’s a compliment.

I do love how most of Bey’s outfits flaunt her bangin body, but we get it already. You have a figure. Can we please move on to a new silhouette? The girl has spent most of her career dressing about 20 years out of date and 10 years older than she is … I really wish she would embrace her youth and modern style.

The pressure is on. Designers are sketching up a storm, hoping our First Lady-elect will choose their design to wear during Washington DC’s inauguration festivities.

I’ll be in the mix, and I’m totally excited to see what the Obama clan will wear come January 20th. I’m sure Malia and Sasha are going to be too cute for words.

These sketches are gorgeous, and Michelle Obama is model-gorgeous with amazing classic taste. She looks beautiful in the more tailored, structured pieces she wears.

Whatever she chooses, she is bound to look comfortable and confident, and that’s what makes her so attractive.

Personally, I’m hoping for bright fruity colors. They would be great with her complexion and would represent the energetic, optimistic mood of the moment.

Can you believe she almost married that clown Nick Cannon?

Waaayyyy too hot for him.

Sexy looks painful, doesn’t it? I don’t know if this makes me want to go to the gym for 3 hours today or never go to the gym again.

Although a lot of the stuff they put on the runway is a little out there, it is a show. And what’s the point of a runway show without a little couture and a little costume and a lot of skin. Should they send the girls down wearing the black-on-black ensembles the rest of us wear? Because um, boring.

It’s not skanky or slutty either, since their product is underwear, but pearl and crystal thongs … I always thought that was a bad idea. As if thongs weren’t uncomfortable enough already.

But this show was all about boy shorts … My fave! Great to see lingerie that doesn’t automatically assume that every woman likes a G string.
