My Two Cents: 50 Cent Offers Music Listeners A Signature Audio/Lifestyle Experience w/ Sync By 50!

Published by Gyant on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 6:13 pm.

These days hip-hop and headphones have become ubiquitous in the music industry. From Dr. Dre’s popular “Beats By Dre” – to Ludacris dabbling into the marketplace with his own signature headphones “Soul”. And while the aforementioned hip-hop brand’s ear-wear are getting a lot of attention, leave it to rap leader 50 Cent to corner the market and offer consumers something truly unique, and exclusive from all the rest. “Sync by 50″ is the new audio line that not only offers a sleeker — and more durable product than that of its competitors, but also offers a wireless device (yes I said wireless) so you’re not bogged down with endless wires catching on any and everything while you try to enjoy your favorite music. An innovative and small Kleer dongle about the size of a small matchbox is included. Insert, the dongle’s integral 3.5mm plug into your phone, iPod, or computer, and you’re guaranteed to get the same high sound quality you’d get with a cable.

While the audio craze has hip-hop headphones an unexpected boost to the economy and demographic, in a battle to create personalized signature products, oftentimes, they’re overpriced pieces of crap. And this is where Sync by 50 stands alone as the leading headphones I’ve experienced to date. What can’t be denied is the packaging. With a retail price of $399.00, you definitely feel apart of a private club because lets keep it real, not everyone will be able to be apart ‘Sync by 50′ due to the large price point.

The audio controls on the headphone allows for volume adjustments, and song selection. This feature allows you to scroll through your music collection with a blink of an eye [although the song switch functions didn’t work for me. #kanyeshrug.] However, the crisp audio sound blaring out Sync By 50 are music to my ears. The “thump” you receive from the bass is perfect. And will make for a perfect listening experience. With an eager hip-hop community pumping endless amounts of disposable income into the expressive and rebellious culture more so then any time in history, it’s clear consumers also want to hear today’s hip-hop music the best way possible. Sync By 50 is the next step in audio amplification that gets a certified A+ from Gyant on BET.

50 Cent On The Ropes? Rapper Talks About Lifes Lowest Moments!

Published by Gyant on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 2:25 pm.

Seeing as though 50 Cent failed to garner a position on Forbes biggest hip-hop earners of 2010, I found an interesting article on the stagnated artist that felt relevant.

In a revealing interview with Vibe.com, Curtis breaks down his highest, and lowest points. What goes up ultimately must come down, and many say that 50 and his G-Unit squad are definitely in the “low” right now.

Per Vibe:

→ There are certain things artists do that I can’t get away with. Eminem could put on a dress as a joke and people will go, “Oh that’s Eminem.” 50 Cent will do it and they’ll have a heart attack.

→ Hip-hop culture, it shifts. Consumers have a low attention span. They want as much as possible when you’re in that window and then you’ll see a new artist come out and see him all over the place.

→ My grandparents, because they had nine children, didn’t have anything that you would look at and say, “This is the lifestyle I want to be a part of.” [There wasn’t anything] that would influence you to want to go in [their] direction.

→ I don’t respect enough of the artists to be out on everyone’s record. It just doesn’t make sense to me. You know whose career makes a lot of sense to me? Andre 3000’s does. He’s still interesting.

→ I regret not going into film production faster. I [have] an interest in the storytelling process in filmmaking, but I never really allowed myself to go into it with the same type of focus and excitement that I do with music.

Personally, I could think of a lot more lower points as it relates to Fiddy, but there’s no need to for the redundancy. What do you all think about 50’s career?

First, please don’t feel an ounce of sorrow for him. The rapper/actor has more money then most of us will ever seen in our lifetime. He’s got merchandising, a massive estate in Connecticut [or did he finally sell it], Vitamain water dollars, etc.

But nobody can deny that he’s on the ropes these days in the competitive world of hip-hop.

50 Cent Issues Attack on @IamDiddy, Requests Fans Sign Online Petition!

Published by Gyant on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 4:01 pm.

Puffy’s new video with Jay Elecontrica is drawing controversy since it was released. Y’all already know how I feel about the devil we all call Diddy, so let’s not harp. BUT it’s interesting what lengths certain rap stars are going to to shut the musical mogul down.

Nigel D of RealtalNY is reporting that embattled rapper 50 Cent, who’s currently struggling to find his musical footing now that his fans have grown tired of the rap attacks, has taken to the internet to forge an unbreakable “We Hate Diddy” campaign, and it’s starting with an online petition.

The idea came once the visuals to Diddy and Jay’s video for “RIP Christopher Wallace” was released, which you can watch above. A
