Myko and Diamond’s sizzling hot video “Take It Low” has its official release this week. The song that was bubbling all summer long finally has some visuals I can share. From sexy ladies, to stacks of cash, Myko along with the H.N.I.C. of his record company Thomas Jones of Independently Major Entertainment held nothing back in this video.
Of course since “Take it Low” was a club banger, so you know the background itself had to be a club setting. It’s yet another step in the right direction for what Myko is trying to accomplish.

Atlanta “rapper” Diamond is now speaking out about the rumors that circulated a whole 5 days about about her ATL property going into foreclosure. The fact that I’m spending so much time talking about a “musician” I despise more than the evil lesbian with no soul perplexes me, but it is what it is.
For the record I don’t believe a word she’s saying. I don’t care what anybody says, people with money don’t deal with repossessions and foreclosures –damn near back to back — unless there’s trouble on the home front [Home being the operative word]. It just doesn’t happen.
But here’s what she’s telling XXL Mag via Freddyo:
“It was a business decision, plain and simple,” she said. “I bought that house in ’02. It was a house I did live in at the time for about a year. But then I got into other rental properties and flipping my money and moved out of that house. The recession hit and the real estate market was not doing what it was supposed to do, so instead of selling it, I rented it out. Then the rental market slowed down, too. So I asked myself, ‘Should I keep this house when no one is buying it or renting it?’ If I can’t sell it, recoup my money or have anyone rent out the property, then why would I keep it? So I decided to let it go to foreclosure last year.” (XXLMag.com)
She added, “People do it all the time. Donald Trump does it. If a person can’t understand that, then they’re stupid.” (XXLMag.com)
“It’s kind of funny that this is coming out now because I let the house go to foreclosure a long time ago,” she explained. “I guess with the courts and it finally going on the market, all of this is just now coming out. I’ve upgraded my place of residence four times since that first house. I don’t want to say where I live now, but I want my fans to know that I own the house that I live in now.” (XXLMag.com)
A. Diamond you’re NOT Donald Trump. And B. What’s funny about your financial irresponsibilities ?
Such is life I guess. Let’s all pray — well not me– that “Cocaine Waitress” doesn’t end up being the epitome of irony.
Lil Scrappy, government name Darryl Richardson, bought his 2,836 sq ft home in Conyers, GA back in 2004. He copped it for $182,800 back when he was still dropping singles on the radio, but not only has the home (pictured above) devalued to $123,000, but the bank foreclosed on it this past August.
And if he thought he was going to just move in with his “My Chick Bad” rapper girlfriend Diamond, that’s a no-go. We’ve also got documents that show Diamond, government name Brittany Carpentero, got her home foreclosed on this past September by Suntrust Bank. Why? Because she couldn’t pay her mortgage on her Walden Park neighborhood Atlanta home (pictured above).
To be fair Lil Scrappy’s alleged financial demise is of no interest to me. I mean now that he’s signed to a winning team [Ludacris DTP] I’m confident he’ll be straight in the long run. But the fake blond=bombshell we all call Diamond is clearly done!
And if you wanna add insult to injury, Diamond is pushing a new mixtape titled “Cocaine Waitress,” that nobody cares about. Although, it’s nice to see her career goals change a bit. Some would argue the struggling MC is going to have to be a waitress if she’s got a chance in hell of a financial recovery.
Female MC’s let Diamond be the lesson to you all that A. Home ownership is not a simple as it seems. And B. Mean egomanics always gets whats coming to them. Stay humble and positive on your journey to success.
Allow me to extend an invitation to Diamond to crash on my floor next to the dog if times get too hard. Something tells me Princess is somewhere having one major laugh. LOL!

Sometimes life hands you lemons, and its up to you to make lemonade. Then then are times when life whacks you in the face like a hammer and leaves you on the side of the road for dead.
Some would say that former Crime Mob member Diamond gets her just dessert when her new whip, which she’s been seen boasting about all of over town, got repo’d.
The video is epic. Diamond’s career may never recover.
Though I’d love to sign my name all over this matter, I had nothing to do with it. But whomever made the call, that was a power move of life right there.
Good luck Diamond. Let’s pray your career can survive it.

Shoutout to Ludacris for showing luv to his industry community by throwing a DTP Block Party. The sweltering heat couldn’t stop Luda and his Disturbing Tha Peace family from throwing a bash for the people. The homie Kodak atKiddunot.com has the first set of pictures from the event.
Not only was there bottomless Conjure following, placed in the center of everything were your favorite Atlanta celebs. Diamond, Lil’ Scrappy, (and his daughter), Nate Walka, Terrence J, DJ Trauma (not pictured), and of course, Luda was in the building with his dog, and the rest of the DTP affiliates.
Check out the pics below.
Terrence J staying cool in the air conditioning. I hear he’s making SEVERAL appearances around the city this holiday weekend where he’s expected to make between $10k-20k. Must be nice.
Diamond rocks an interesting new look along with Kodak’s co-sign. Is that a bang or hat? Im just asking.

Shoutout to Mr. Southern Smoke aka DJ Smallz for knocking out the interviews I’m too lazy to go out and track down.
If you’re in Atlanta then you’re already very familiar with drama that surrounded the demise of Crime Mob, and the arguable demise of fan favorites Princess and Diamond. And if you don’t know google it.
Those familiar already know that it was getting pretty heavy between both Diamond aka Brittany and Princess aka Venetia. Accusations flew from both sides, and the two ended up dissolving their music hyped future joint album.
However, in the interview above, my girl Princess, who I haven’t spoken too in quite sometime, sets the records straight on the dueling divas current relationship:
DJ Smallz: What’s up with you and Diamond? I saw pictures last week of you two cheesing together on the set talk to me.
Princess: We Cool, we cool. It took a min. It took t a long time to get over everything. But, to make a long story short we were young in a group. We had to be on the road all the time. We forced to be around each other all the time. You know, and I think…um once it started slowing down a little bit. She [Diamond] was ready to do her own thing.
And for the longest, you know, the way that she did it was messed up, but the ending result, you know, she still was ready to still work or whatever. So that was cool, it just took me awhile to understand the reasons behind it and whatever. But now, yo know, we’re grown, and its time to get money and put the BS behind us. And even if we don’t do another song together at least we have an understanding and we have a respect for each other. And that’s bigger then anything else to me.
Be sure to watch the full interview above where Princess explains how she and Diamond got back together to achieve common ground.

[Dondria and Team Gyant]
Last week So So Def artist Dondria Nicole invited Gyant to come out and attend her video shoot with Johnta Austin and Diamond for their new single “Shawty Wuz Up”.
I wasn’t able to attend the shoot, but the Team Gyant were in full effect with great pics and video for you guys. From what I understand it was a typical shoot. There was no behind the scenes drama.
[Johnta Austin talking about his new album, and the "Ocean's 7 project]
With choreography by Devyne Stephens, “Shawty Wuz Up” is an instant classic. Many say JD’s new artist Dondria sounds a lot like a younger fresher Beyonce. I don’t subscribe to that notion, but I can understand the similarities.

Check some behind the scenes video below.

Atlanta rapper Diamond aka Mz 32 Flavors [though I never got the AKA] is back with a brand new situation.
As we all know she was unceremoniously kicked out of Warner Bros building after it was assumed nobody cared. But after going back to the basics, and getting herself on Luda’s ensemble single “My Chick Badd” remix, she’s secured a new — some argue better — situation through the Jive umbrella.
According to my homegirl and Publicist to Jive Records, Brittany [Diamond] has secured herself a new deal under the Battery records umbrella. Think of Battery like Asylum Records and you’ll see that Diamond is in a pretty nice situation. Battery Records is an imprint under Sony Music Entertainment’s RCA/JIVE Label Group umbrella formed in July 2008.
Calm down Diamond stans, I hear it’s just a single deal.
