Shouts to Drumma Boy!

The meticulous producer, who spends less time on the scene and more time in the studio earned his stripes this year by thrashing fellow award winning producers to the second from top spot, beating out big names such as Will.I.Am, Stargate, The Dream and Chuck Harmony respectively.

“I appreciate the recognition from Billboard,” says Drumma. “I’ve had a great year working with some amazing artists and look forward to what 2011 brings. Expect consistency and a few surprises, I’ve got some great collaborations coming in the New Year, and I’m coming after that #1 spot!”

Drumma has worked with and produced some of the biggest tracks for entertainers like T.I., Akon, Plies, Monica, Gucci Mane, Lil’ Jon, Rick Ross, Kanye West, and more. The mastermind behind Young Jeezy’s “Put On” and Birdman’s “Money to Blow,” shows that his reputation is among the greatest for his dynamic style that infuses classics like Coltrane, Davis, and even Beethoven into a solid, modern sound.

Drumma’s had huge success this year with Gucci and Jeezy’s projects to name a few. Recognized for his work by Vibe Magazine, New York Times, The Southern Entertainment Awards, Ozone Awards as well as being nominated twice for a Grammy and BET Hip Hop award garners Drumma as one of the most pioneering producers of our generation. Drumma was also chosen as the only American producer to headline New Skool Rules 2011, Europe’s biggest urban music seminar two years in a row. With his talent and repertoire expanding, Drumma is continuing to show how the South stands up and shows out for the rest of the world to see.

Download of The Day – Drumma Boy Drops Young Buck’s New Mixtape B.O.M.B.S. Vol. 2

Published by Gyant on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 9:31 am.

Award winning producer Drumma Boy’s been busy off late crafting brand spanking new beats for hip hop artist Young Buck’s new mixtape, B.O.M.B.S. (Back on My Buck Sh#t) Vol. 2.

This will serve as the first in a series of collaborative mixtape releases by Drumma scheduled for the top of the year.

Inspired by the lack of mainstream recognition of talent based out of Tennessee, Drumma and Buck, take it back to the streets creating hard-hitting, base thumping tracks reminiscent of commendable southern rap music from the early 2000’s. With over 150,000 downloads on the web already the heat on B.O.M.B.S is growing more and more every day.

After Back on My Buck Sh#t Vol. 2, Drumma will be releasing two more street albums to complete the series. For this next project, conversations have been in the works to collaborate with artists such as J. Money, Drake, Roscoe Dash, Wale and Wiz Khalifa.
