So So Def Recording artist Dondria Nicole is not only prepping for debut album, but she’s also now preparing for one of the summer’s biggest tours.

R&B songstress/Internet sensation, Dondria, has been added to the Passion, Pain & Pleasure Tour headlined by Trey Songz and Monica, So So Def Recordings announced today. Dondria will be the featured opening act on the tour, which kicks off August 6 in Mobile, AL.

The Dallas native has been busy gearing up for the August 17 release of her debut album Dondria vs. Phatfffat (So So Def/Malaco). She performed on the BET Awards Pre-Show and the ASCAP Awards in June, and has been booked for various summer concerts across the country.

“You’re the One,” her first Top 10 single and #1 video on “106 & Park,” is being followed by “Shawty Wus Up” feat Johnta Austin and Diamond. The video for that single premieres July 18 on MTV Jams, which Dondria will host for the entire week.

In my pursuit to bring the blogs something different, I had to put you all onto the hottest new nightspot in the city of Atlanta that’s garnering a lot of buzz.

Formerly known as Club Dreamz aka Atlanta Live, my ppl’s over at Felix Murphy, Piedmont promotions and Furious ENT Presents have all come together to bring us all a little Miami nightlife with the newly built Club Mansion Elan.

I’m not much of a club head these days, but it’s safe to say that when I’m out I’m at Mansion. With multiple flat screens, a newly custom built venue, with numerous VIP spots in the cut — or not if that’s your thing, DJ Teplon on the 1’s & 2’s, and numerous celebrities bound to pop up without notice, Club Mansion Elan is rapidly becoming “the spot” in the ATL that’s getting the Gyant co-sign.

This weekend, Saturday July 17th, Club Mansion Elan turns into a lockeroom [pause] as the hot new venue celebrates NFL Birthday Weekend Celebration.

NFL Players like Cecil Newton, Anthony Smith, Tony McDaniels, Brian Williams, Clint Ingram, Bryan Iwuh and tons more will all be in the building.

Now I dont know about you, but this all sounds like way more fun then to be around the same mundane nightspots, surrounded by the mundane people. Fellas you already know the ladies are gonna come out in droves.

Don’t say I didn’t put you on.

Gyant on BET.com is launching the very first urban comic strip to run daily on BET.com.

In conjunction with Digital Multimedia artist and super animator Aaron Archie, “Keep The Change,” is an exclusive comic that centers around a twenty-something year old guy named Ron, who has a roommate Kareem, and is dealing with life, relationships and the day to day grind.

Y’all know Gyant on BET continues to bring you all the exclusives, and today is no different. Check out some shots taken from the new Young Jeezy’s “All White Everything” remix featuring Yo Gotti.

Are we still on the “All White” theme? I thought it was sooo 2004, but I could be wrong. Anyway, Jeezy brought out Screewww, Slick Pulla, Trey Songz and the Hawks player Josh Smith.

Drumma Boy, Dj Infamous, Lil Bankhead and others came out to show luv too.

We here at G.O.B. have a lot of love for Young Jeezy, but am I the only one kind of wondering, and or questioning his relevancy in the game on a mainstream level? It almost seems like Yeezy is becoming more and more underground with each passing day.

Last night BMI and BET join forces to shut down the city of Los Angeles for the upcoming BET Awards happening tomorrow, June 27th at the Shrine Auditorium.

If Vice President, Writer/Publisher Relations, Catherine Brewton’s juice was ever dubious to some, her ability to bring out Drake, Baby, Cool & Dre, Brandy & Ray-J [who she assures me has a smash with his recent collaboration with Rodney Jerkins], The Simmons sisters Angela & Vanessa, Pleasure P, April Woodard, Real Housewife of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and many more should end that hate right here.

Philippe’s Chow was the backdrop for this intimate party affair. And I can’t discount BET’s efforts by any means. The Viacom owned network were able to bring the somewhat reclusive Ne-Yo, who just left the ASCAP awards after winning a sleuth of awards, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET Deborah Lee and Vice President, Urban Music, Ethiopia Habtemariam.

Baby hair lacefront aka Brandy, who I always go in on twitter after each nauseating episode of that damn “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business,” turned me into a complete groupie. Surprisingly I’ve never had a chance to meet her, seeing as though she doesn’t do media interviews with bloggers.

I immediately reverted back to my high school days, and threw caution into the wind by screaming her name like some 12 year-old school girl. It’s OK, judge away, I’m not embarrassed. Sometimes it is what it is.

Anyway, DJ Ruckus was dope, the vibe was right and at the end of the day I gotta give props to BMI and BET for easily having the best party of the night, and trust me I went to them all.

OK that’s the official report, now lets get into the dirt a little bit:

Brandy and Flo Rida were in the same room together and I didn’t see them speak to each other AT ALL the entire time. So clearly their supposed “love” thing is over. Some people call it love, some people call it a jumpoff, I choose the latter.

Basketball Wives star Suzie was there, and man is she tall. Forget trying to land a baller she should sign up for the WNBA and collect her own checks.

Baby rolled through like 10 deep, caused a bunch of ruckus at the door, and them dipped. Such a freakin rockstar. Not really, but we can pretend.

Busta Rhymes needs to send Cool & Dre a bottle of champagne for helping him avoid catching a case [that's all I can say].

BET’s “College Hill” star Dorian still tries to deny he’s gay, but check out his jeans tucked into his boots. I think its safe to say that Straight men don’t do that.

Drake walked right past me and I didn’t take one picture or pay him any attention, proving I’m no stan by ANY means.

Songstresss, and BET Awards nominee Monica opens up about her current status with former Def Jam recording artist Rocko. Mo promises that despite the sudden announcement that their union was ending she and Rocko are mad cool.

The successful artist, who most of you left for dead, also offers up an insight into how the two, who have two amazing little boys coincide together.

I’m always side-eyeing Rocko and I have no idea why.  Look, either these two have the divine secret that we all need privy to, or Monica’s self confidence is overflowing so much that it makes you want to hate her.

Either way I’m team Mo. All the way.
