Waka Flocka is opening up about last week’s police raid, which occurred at his Henry Co rented estate.

If ya didn’t know, Gyant on BET.com was one of the first media outlets to put you all onto the surprise [not really] police incident, where authorities descended down onto Waka’s home looking for “gang related Intel.”

Reports also suggest that Juaquin Malphurs aka Waka’s homie Gucci was caught up in the drama.

The “No Hands” MC stopped through “The Jenny Boom Boom” show out of Connecticut to explain the situation. Listening to him tell it, you’d think he received a citation for disturbing the peace and NOT for guns and gangs:

On reports police were searching for info relating to gangs -

Waka said he is a rapper not a gang banger.  That would be hustling backwards.

On Gucci Mane -

A day after the incident. Waka wasn’t sure what happened to Gucci Mane.  He couldn’t answer questions about whether Gucci was handcuffed or released. [Watch Video Here]

Yea he didn’t really have much to say did he? Is anyone surprised? The question looming over his padre Gucci Mane’s head is whether he was arrested or not? Nobody knows for sure.

What is known is that he definitely wasn’t processed through any jail house, but several of my trusted sources confirmed independently to me that he was in fact put in shackles for a moment.  But never one to let a little arrest get in the way, Gucci took to the stage over the weekend just to show you all that he’s good. And you know the homie Thaddeus McAdams was in the building to bring you an exclusive birds-eye view.

TMZ.com received photos of the raid, which you know I’ve got for you. And personally I can’t tell if it was an actual raid or if perhaps Merry Maids were stopping through for an estimate to clean up what appears to be one big sh*t hole.

I’m still on my deathbed suffering from a bad case of the flu, but I just got word from my homie Blogxilla over at Global Grind that it’s going down at Waka Flocka’s ATL residence.

Details are sketchy, but right now here’s what’s known:

1. Gucci Mane is in cuffs and prostitution may be involved.
2. Marijuana and weapons were found.
3. Waka is not there, but apparently if he doesn’t show up soon a warrant for his arrest will be issued.

No word yet on how authorities got involved. The second I know you’ll know.

Update 1: Major Jeff Norman of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office confirms that neither repeat offenders have been booked as of yet. And that police were looking for evidence of gangs and drugs.

After just a few months of being released from jail, Atlanta rap star Gucci Mane is now back in rehab. Truth be told I knew the day it happened, however my sources way of living far outweighs my desire to cover a story on yet another hoodstar who can’t get it together.

Why anyone is surprised is beyond me. Oh wait. Nobody is surprised.

According to Julia Beverly’s Ozone Magazine:

Members of the rapper’s entourage were involved in an hour-long stand-off against Gucci outside the Riverwoods Southern Regional Psychiatric Center in Riverdale, Ga. on Thursday (October 14). The group, which included his manager and lawyer, begged him to enter the facility for treatment, apparently interrupting a Narcotics Anonymous class that was taking place at the time of his arrival.

After coaxing from his lawyer, who convinced the ‘So Wasted’ rapper that failing to get help for his drug addiction could land him right back behind bars, the 30-year-old turned himself in for 28-day treatment. The facility, which specializes in alcohol and substance abuse, offers support groups for chemical dependency every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Listen, lets call a spade a spade. Gucci is still on probation and must consent to drug testings as a result. Failing yet another one will certainly send him back to the cage.

Entering Roderick Davis aka Gucci into rehab is an offensive tactic to keep him out of jail. Let’s see if it works.

It is time for us all to put down these “Free Rapper” T-Shirts, and start to encourage these fools to get treatment and help. T.I., Lil Wayne and now Gucci again. Houston, we clearly have a problem.

The musical homie Sean Garrett aka “The Pen” is refusing to give up on his dreams of becoming a star. His new video with Gucci Mane and Young Money’s Tyga called “She Geeked” has just hit the web via MTV, which was shot in Atlanta, GA.

First off I’m going to need someone to hand Tyga a sandwich, or at least have Sean’s personal trainer give the unusually scrawny looking artist a more desired look. Fellas the ladies don’t really like the skinny bois..just a little tip from me to you.

Anyway, “She Geeked” isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Gyant on BET Blog already posted the behind the scenes photo’s at the top of the summer.

Some have argued that my opinion of Mr. Garrett is biased because Sean’s music and entire style is squarely marketed to the “the ladies” so as a man I cant really offer up a fair opinion of his work. I disagree completely, but such is life.

I dont have to be a lady to know what the ladies want. And sadly when I’m around my female companions Mr. Garrett’s name isn’t on the tips of their tongues. Girls like swag, sex appeal, good vocals, sex appeal, flashy performances, sex appeal, did I mention sex appeal? In the spirit of keeping it real, Sean lacks what the ladies desire. Not that I’m Tyson Beckford or anything, but I’m just sayin.

Alot of times dudes — particuarly amongst us black men go to the superficiality of what they feel women want. So they hop in the gym and get all buffed, or try to impress the ladies with endless stacks of cash. Sometimes it works. But alot of times it doesn’t, and I just want Sean to bring something to the table besides the usual step and repeat.

I still feel that Mr. Garrett’s strongest position is remaining where he is now. Dude is an INCREDIBLE songwriter. His job is to make other artists hot. That’s a talent that not many people can claim. But it’s clear he’s so focused on pulling the “Missy Elliot and Kanye West card” by coming from behind the scenes to the front.

Hey I wish him all the best, and will reserve any future opinions for judgement day aka album release date. Funny, I thought I was going to get to hear the project early. *ahem* yea you..um?

It looks like Ciara is one smart cookie after all.

Not only am I hearing that she’s paying her bills around the city of the ATL [which is always a great look], but now she’s collaborating with the worlds most celebrated criminal. Well, next to Lil Wayne that is.

CiCi and the man of the hour Gucci Mane ustreamed for fans last night to discuss their surprise new collaborations on each other projects. The two ATLIENS are playing coy, on details, but it’s still a great look no matter how you slice the dice.

Brilliant chess move Ciara just played, by adding the most popular rapper out of Atlanta right now, sorry Jeezy, onto her new album. I haven’t heard any of the project just yet, but we all see her public struggle with “Ride” that’s got the other King of Atlanta Ludacris and sexually ambiguous funkdafied Andre 3000.

Am I suggesting that our former princess of Crunk & B is done in the eyes of music, that’s not my call to make. However it’s obvious if she doesn’t find her niche, and quick, her musical future will most certainly be compromised.

Anyway, watch the unusual chemistry between the two above.
