There’s sad news on the home front this week for V103. After almost a week of behind the scenes drama poppin off at Atlanta’s most popular urban radio statio, it looks like its ‘dueces’ for Producer of “The Frank Ski & Wanda Morning Show,” Nina Brown.

Listen I don’t know what happened exactly. Apparently there was a battle over some pie from a holiday pot luck that was the catalyst for Nina and V103 personality Elle Duncan, which resulted in an on air spat, that everybody heard.

I’ve been on my deathbed for more then a week so I wasn’t able to go out and get the “juice” like I normally do. Plus, I’m a bit conflicted seeing as though I have genuine love for both Nina & Elle, who basically started out around the same time as me back in the day.

Luckily for all the nosy people out there Rodney Ho at the AJC got the scoop:

UPDATE at 9:59 p.m.:I have now heard that Brown is no longer at the station. And that the argument had something to do with some left-over pot-luck sweet potato pie. Seriously!

Duncan was off the air for about a week in what appears to be a suspension and returned this morning to the Frank and Wanda morning show, where she has been reporting sports and entertainment the past few months. Previously, she has been a mid-day host (her spot has yet to be filled) and before that, Cameron’s sidekick in the afternoons.

Duncan’s boss and V-103 general manager Rick Caffey declined to comment, per company policy.

Brown declined to comment. Duncan did not respond to text messages..

On a personal note this news is so sad. Both women are intelligent, articulate, hard working individuals who have both done AMAZING things with their careers. And while I understand emotions and all that can overflow and become a liability at times, its heartbreaking to see this go down in such a manner right before the holidays.

Sometimes we all just need to calm down and look at the bigger picture, or hell just walk away period. At the end of the day high school squabbles should be left there.. in High School.

It seems the blog yesterday I did on Atlanta rapper — turned global brand — Soulja Boy didn’t go over well with the kid star. As you know SB is in the fight of his rap life over allegations that the pint sized MC is a serious coke head.

We here at BET can’t confirm the allegations, however some recent video has been spotted online that suggests something is definitely going on. Well, it seems that SB hit us on twitter yesterday to address the rumors. And here’s what he had to say.

While I’m optimistic that SB is currently substance free, I definitely wanna see that drug test. Someone from Camp Soulja send that over Pronto.

Oh and as far as suing legendary gossipnista Miss Info – please. You don’t have much of a case there, sir. And Soulja Boy has since removed his tweet. I’d advise you to point your attorneys to the creator of this fiasco. One Mrs. Kat Stacks.. B*tch.

Damn can Chris Brown catch a break?

Just days after winning over the audience with his amazing rendition to one of his musical hero’s Michael Jackson, the rumor mill is working overtime to end his little parade of promotion from the people.

I know I wasn’t the only one looking sideways at the Shrine Auditorium when Jay-Z, Beyonce or Rihanna was nowhere to be seen. Well, now we have an explanation if you believe the bloggers:

It was rumored that last year Jay-Z began plotting against Chris Brown to keep him from appearing on the 2009 BET Awards and participating the first Michael Jackson tribute, just days after MJ’s death — because Brown had just been convicted of beating up his then-girlfriend and Jay-Z artist, Rihanna.

And that’s precisely the reason Jay-Z did not appear at the 2010 BET Awards this past Sunday, reports a few reputable entertainment blogs. Jigga Man is said to have spurned the offer to attend when he learned that executives at BET were going to give Chris Brown the solo spotlight on the Michael Jackson tribute.

Listen, is it possible Jay-Z chose to boycott BET over Chris ‘damn’ Brown? Possibly. However, I’d like to think it was simply because the arguably best rapper alive had “better things to do”. Either way it was Mr. Hov who missed out. Not the other way around.

Sidebar, wouldn’t it have been GREAT grist for the mill if RiRi WAS there and the camera zoomed in while the entire auditorium flipped out in cheer for her former boy toy? Or would the industry have been a bunch of ass kissers and sat silent?!

Self-proclaimed King of The South T.I. and his longtime girlfriend Tiny of BET’s own “Tiny & Toya” are once again in the blogs. Could Tip be stepping out on Tiny with that damn VH1 reality star Hoopz?

That’s the word. I don’t believe it, but it is the word.

I will try to be delicate because I don’t know the facts between Hoopz and T.I. But, last night while on the Monique Show, quite a few people on twitter noticed Hoopz sitting front row in the audience while T.I. was on stage for an interview. Now, I am hearing that Hoopz has been at several of T.I. events. I don’t know why, and in this case I really think it’s none of our business, technically T.I. is not married, but this drama goes back to 2006. I don’t know how open or closed T.I. and Tiny’s relationship, and so I can’t really speak on it until someone within the triangle does.

Anybody who knows me knows I love a good scandal. However, I can’t see how some reality show sitting front row at “The Monique Show” qualifies as such.
