With BET Hip-Hop awards finally over for another year, and after a much needed rest, I finally got all my content centralized.
The events were cool this year. TI clearly owns the city while Jeezy and others came in a distance second and third. Recording artists on the come-up like Myko were everywhere!
Take moment and check out all the pics. There were good times for all. First up T.I.’s Manson party. Miguel, Diddy, Ed Lover, Nelly, Real Houswives of Atlanta Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks and Apollo, Lil Duval , Terrence J, Jazze Pha, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Ariane, Tiny’s good friend and hairstylist Shekina and more were in the building.
The usual suspects in the game.

All in All I heard the night went off with much of a hitch.

T.I. can’t seem to catch a break these days. Tip is in hot water at an Arkansas state prison after he got all hot and bothered after his wife Tiny made a visit. And it seems the two are now paying for their “frisky behavior”:
T.I.’s wife Tiny confirms … the two were in a room together during regular visiting hours at Arkansas State Prison when Tiny made like Michael Jackson … and beat it.
According to prison guidelines, inmates are allowed to kiss and embrace at the beginning and at the end of a visit as well as hold hands — but “the inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of Visiting Room staff at all times.”
Tiny tells us T.I. was immediately reprimanded and sent to a “Special Housing Unit” — which consists of more security and less freedom.
I think we can all collectively agree that this is the very definition of a bullsh*t charge.

I got an email from Grand Hustle’s H.K.I.C. Hannah Kang and her partner Laura Giles of MusicBusinessPolitics about Tip’s Grammy nominations. I wasn’t aware he garnered any this year.
So I figured if I didn’t know, you all might be oblivious to it as well.

Another Tip spotting thanks to the homie Eddie Rhodman, Jr. of Destined for Success Management, LLC.
HOT 107.9’s Ebony Steele, Co-Host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and Susan G. Komen/General Mills Circle of Promise Ambassador on a successful Bare Chest for Breast Cancer fashion benefit.
Surprise attendees included Atlanta’s own TIP T.I. Harris, Hip Hop’s own Yung Joc, Famed Celebrity Hair Stylist Derek J and a host of Atlanta notables. In all sincerity, TI, Yung Joc and Derek J took to the stage and expressed their support and importance of awareness since all have witnessed the effects of the disease on someone in their respective families. The event took place last night (October 28) at Club Opera in Midtown Atlanta.
Some eye candy for whomever is interested. #nojudgement

While today is TI’s day to turn himself in and continue another stint behind bars for a few months for multiple probation violations, he joined Fabolous Rocko, Kev, The Whole Street Fam and a few others.
They all joined to celebrate Ruggs, who no disrespect, but I have no idea who he is. I even googled him and got nothing. But I’m going to assume he’s somebody seeing as though a few of hip-hop elite’s, Rocko not included in that, would spend their time with him tells me somethings going on.
To be fair my ears aren’t in the streets liek they used to be so for all intense purposes lets assume he’s one of the come up kid’s.

Got some T.I. scoop for ya. It seems that the self-proclaimed King has changed his new album title. It was clear that “King Uncaged” was a tad inappropriate seeing that he’s going back to jail. Here’s the update via SFTA:
Clifford “T.I.” Harris has been ordered to report directly to a federal prison in Arkansas by Nov. 1 to start serving his 11-month prison sentence. Tip will report to the Forrest City low-security prison, the same joint where he served his earlier 10-month stint on federal weapons charges
In related news. Tip has decided to change the name of his next album and you may be surprised at his choice for the new title…
Originally entitled, “King Uncaged,” the name has no significance now that the King will be caged yet again. T.I. announced the new name during an interview with Hot 107.9′s Ricky Smiley, stating:
Well it ain’t “King Uncaged” no more; we had to change the title to NO MERCY…
Believe it or not, I’m not that busy right now. I’ve got about one thing I’ve got to do. We’re just getting more videos in the can and preparing for this project to be out… awaiting and wrapping things up so we’re ready to deliver it to the world.
T.I. returns to prison Monday, November 1st, while his “No Mercy” cd drops a lil more than a month later on December 7th.
I’m so exhausted by Tip’s issues that I no longer have anything else to add. Let’s just all hope that brutha gets his life together. From whom much is given much is expected.

Today some drama developed at Atlanta’s very popular V103 radio station. It seems a distraught Atlanta resident had become fed up with the challenges of life and chose today to allegedly end it all.
However, Atlanta’s self-proclaimed “King of The South” TI jumped in — three days before I hear a judge is set to send him back off to prison — to save the day.
From published reports the gentleman who’s name is Joshua chose the Colony Square building in Midtown, Atlanta, where V103’s flagship station is also located, and attempted to jump off the rooftop. Police were called, but mysteriously TI showed up to offer his support. He was close to the area shooting a music video, talked to the fellow, and convinced him to retreat from his mission of death.
Listen, apart of me wants to believe this was a genuine act of courtesy, but the timing has me giving everyone the major side-eye. However, I will keep my opinion mum to focus on the positive.
Per Reggie J. Rouse [Program Director for V]:
It all went down earlier this afternoon — when cops responded to a 911 call about a man who was threatening to jump off a building in downtown Atlanta … the same building where Ryan Cameron’s Radio Show on V103 is based.
We’re told T.I. heard about the jumper on the radio — and called Ryan Cameron to see if there was anything he could do to help out with the situation.
Ryan Cameron tells us … he told T.I. to roll over to the building, where the rapper met with police and recorded a heartfelt video message which cops then played for the man on the roof.
We’re told after the man saw T.I.’s video he agreed to step off the ledge … and met T.I. in the lobby, where the two were able to talk things out.
Ryan Cameron also tells us that cops informed the radio station that they will not be pressing charges against the man.
I wonder if this will suddenly have his life determining Federal judge to have a softer position on TI’s rumored expected jail sentence. It’s just too many conveniences for me personally, but I still wish everyone all the best in this matter.
At least our tax dollars won’t be used anymore for this situation.

We all know by now that T.I. is currently involved in yet another legal matter, which is starting to mess with his money. It seems that things are getting so bad, that Tip had to cancel an upcoming concert featuring the embattled MC. But it seems it’s not going down.
T.I.’s arrest troubles are really starting to take a bite out of his pockets. T.I. supposed to perform at Virgin Mobile’s FreeFest in Columbia, Maryland but had to give his spot up to Ludacris. This is the second high profile concert Tip had to miss after getting arrested with drugs in L.A. earlier this month.
Damn Tip! And I know you steamed at having to let the other King slide in and get your check. *Kanye Shrug*
