Last night Atlanta got an upgrade with Sister 2 Sister magazine’s 25th Anniversary event. Special shoutout to 135TH Street Agency for the personal invite. Though I didn’t make it, Thaddeus with Exclusiveaccess.net sent me over some photo’s of the star studded affair.

The homie Yung Joc is in some hot water today.

It seems two of Joc’s pit bulls attacked a local ATL resident’s dog. The news broke late yesterday evening. But, good news for the dog. He’s expected to pull through just fine.

Per 11 Alive:

Robinson says he has always taken the proper precaution to make sure his dogs are safely contained, but they managed to escape after their electric collars and a gate at his home malfunctioned.

The neighbor’s dog is expected to be okay.

Robinson says he will pay for the dog’s medical expenses. He was cited for the incident.

That was a close one Joc. This could easily have been a national media story. We are a country that loves our canines. But on second thought, national attention could be the springboard needed for Joc to announce his new deal with RCA.

Last night 790 The Zone AM’s Two Live Stews celebrated an event honoring the outrageous duo’s new foundation.

The Stewart Education Foundation was established by 790 The Zone AM & ESPN sports personalities Doug & Ryan Stewart (The 2 Live Stews) to encourage active involvement of African-American men in classrooms across America by providing financial assistance, raising public awareness, and partnering with colleges, universities and local mentoring organizations.

Crown Royal was eager to lend its support to the launch party for the foundation, as a commitment to the Atlanta community and to add to Crown Royal’s partnership with The 2 Live Stews.

I hear celebrities who attended the 2 Live Stews’ Purple & Gold Affair included: Platinum recording artists Yung Joc, Slim (formerly of 112) and Princess, actress Terri J. Vaughn and actor Gary Owen of Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns, actress Demetria McKinney of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Executive Producer Roger Bobb, Princess Banton-Lofters of Loft 22 Entertainment and creator of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, media personalities Rashan Ali of V-103 FM and Ebony Steele of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, Jason Ellis of FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen, WNBA players Yelena Leuchanka and Rushia Brown, PGA golfer Stephen Reed and many others.

I couldn’t attend this event because..um..let’s just say there were conflicts of interest everywhere. But luckily enough for me Monica over at M320 Consulting sent me a full recap I can extend to the Gyant on BET Blog some looks from the event.
