Inauguration day is going to be historical when it comes to the numbers. A lot of Black people that didn’t know what the inauguration was are going to be there. There were a lot of people who voted and believed that once he won, he was the president already. They didn’t know that he’s not the president until he’s sworn in.

 There’s gonna be a lot of nervous people at the inauguration, but there ain’t nothing to be scared of. There were people who were scared if Barack became president that something would happen to him. Barack already got more secret service than any president in history.  Those people who are scared are the people that were content with being on that level that they was on. The rest of these people, we’re not scared. We are ready and willing to live and die for a better future for our kids. All races and nationalities, it’s gonna be so historical that it scares you. If you somebody that won’t fight for your rights and freedom, those people we need them to stay away from D. C. that week. I think Barack will make it better for the fathers. Because a lot of times, fathers get the short end of the sticks. If we get together and have a baby, me and you are responsible for taking care of the baby together. We just need everybody to be on equal playing fileds. I was reading about some of the stuff that Martha Stuart did, and had I did that, I probably would have gotten 30 to 40 years in prison. Michael Vick never really did anything. It’s crazy how they still got O.J.

Our country needs a lot of fixing up. Black folks need to get their education and save and pay more attention to what’s gong on because they rare running us out of our city. I noticed a lot of the Trump plazas are being built. They are bringing gambling and poker to Miami.

We need somebody to give us hope to do better. Just don’t follow Bill Clinton. I saw that picture of Barack with a joint in his mouth. In they time, that was the era of the hippie and love, peace and happiness. I’m sure you saw the pic, I love that picture. How about that? They should let him smoke the good shit, it come from the earth.

Night ends with me and my felon friends yelling ”black power Obama 4 all humanity!” and me crying.

“The Ignorance Within”

As I run through LaGuardia airport rushing to Chicago for election day, I’m realizing that my fight for Barack this year is not with a McCain/Palin supporter, or even myself—I participated in early voting.  My fight for Barack Obama’s place in history lies within my own family. 

On Halloween night, my daughter’s mother (baby’s mama) sent me a picture of her in the VIP section at the club dressed as a sexy nurse.

However yesterday, when I asked her what time she was going to vote her response was:

“I don’t know…it depends on if I can get some gas money or somethin’ to get over there.”

I was like AW HELL NAW!! How the **** you gone be able to get to the club on Halloween night in your slutty nurse outfit, but can’t figure out a way to get to the damn polls to vote for Barack Obama??  That’s some ghetto ass sh*t! 

To be fair to her though, I was met with this response: “When you send me some goddamn money for this baby, then worry about what the **** I do at the polls!!” 

So today, not only am I flying to Chicago to give her some damn money for the baby, but Barack has raised the bar enough for Black men in America for me to grab her by her head and drag her to the polls–and she better be registered!! Or it’s gonna be some domestic abuse kicking off in Chitown!!

This is Bun B from UGK, reporting live from Houston Texas, Missouri City to be exact! Its election day, 7:45 am and I’m out on the block with KBXX 97.9 The Box, broadcasting live from polling centers.

We are trying to make sure people know where to go to vote today and the rules that apply. Today is history and I’m happy to be a part of it! 3 stops before ten today, and more later! Barack just cast his ballot (wonder who he voted for..LOL), and the game is on! Make sure you vote today if you haven’t already! I’ll holla back soon..peace!

Barack is in it now. When it was just the democratic primaries and all that stuff, the media wasn’t really getting into it. But now, the media that’s on the republican side, they fittin to start bashing my guy! This is when it’s going to get ugly. The closer we get to elections and run offs, things are going to get worse. Barack has to just preserver on through it, and we all know he knows that. These are the times when people really need to go out and support him. But like I said before, it’s not fitting to be all lovey dovey and what not, it’s fitting to be…Jesse Jackson wants to cut his nuts off. I have extreme faith in the brother.
