He is not jus the first black candidate to win a primary, he is quite arguably the most hip hop one as well. I firmly believe that the Hip Hop community will be committed in helping him take the next step in his journey to becoming one of the most storied leaders in American history.

Hip Hop has shown a growing support for the democratic candidates in the last 2 elections. With Barack becoming the Democratic nominee I think that the Hip Hop Community and American Youth Culture as a whole has seen a great victory. Hip Hop’s only reaction can be to continue unwavering support for Obama and ensure that their voices AND votes are heard so we can see Obama stepping into the White House.
