Update: Apparently, 50 was nowhere near amused by this proposal. Here’s what 50 had to say…
“When my legal team is finished with them, Taco Bell is going to have a new corporate slogan: ‘We messed with the bull and got the horns,’” 50 Cent told AllHipHop.com in a statement.
A rep for the rapper issued a more detailed reply.
“This is a sleazy and ill-conceived publicity stunt by Taco Bell’s president, Greg Creed, whose disingenuous offer was leaked to the press before it was even presented to 50 Cent’s agent yesterday,” the representative said.
Is it me or is 50 Cent monopolizing the entire industry? If it isn’t music, it’s movies and if it isn’t clothing it’s video games. Word around town is Taco Bell is getting ready to pitch a nice lil proposal to Mr. Curtis Jackson where for one day he’ll change his name coinciding with their Why Pay More Value menu. He has the option of either 79 Cents, 89 Cents or 99 Cents.
Though nothing has been confirmed, I can see 50 snatching this offer right up since he just looooooooooooooves the smell of money, as does any human being. Wait, it gets bette lol! They also want Fif to rap under his new tag name while serving food through a drive through at one of their 5,600 locations in the U.S. Taco Bell will also be donating $10,000 to a charity specifically picked by 50 himself!
What do you guys think? Will 50 bite at Taco Bell’s new proposal or will Mr. Jackson on keep recording intimate phone calls between him and his ex employee’s….HA!!
