Kanye Or Luda? You choose….. Here we go again; the Clash of the Titans, the Rumble in the Jungle, Soundscan Showdown….ummm yeah, that’s all I could think at the moment. To be honest, this is nowhere near to what happened with Curtis and Mr. West last year. Kanye didn’t call out Mr. Bridges on 106 & Park, Ye didn’t offer to retire his rhyming abilities if Luda beat him in sales and they both didn’t appear on this month’s Rolling Stones issue.
I have to give it to Def Jam; the big machine that could, they cornered the market and gave us the best in hip hop, R&B, pop and whatever else you would like to classify Kanye’s new work of art as. Ludacris’s theatrical effort shows us exactly why he’s one of the most underrated MC’s in the game. Holding his own against, Jay-Z, Nas, The Game, T.I., and Rick Ross, Luda made sure we knew whose show it was.
On the other side of the town, the Louis Vuitton Don took an emotional and creative risk and wore his broken heart directly on his chest (literally). Filled with nothing but a pessimistic perception on love (who could blame him after the loss of his mother and fiance) Kanye spoon fed his advocates EXACTLY what he was dealing with. He even convinced Weezy and Jeezy to dive into his world.
Regardless, both LP’s offer such a distinctive sound that neither project will cross paths. If you frequent these parts, you’ve probably had a good taste of what both projects have to offer. However, since the final projects are officially out today, I would LOVE to know which one are you copping and why. To help influence your decision, I’ve provided a gem of choice from both projects. I can not BELIEVE that the sentiment here is so unilaterally Luda… As far as lyrics are concerned I’d consider it a wash basically… Luda is good… but there is a reason he hasn’t ascended to the level of a Jay, Weezy, Kanye, or TI…
But the thing about these albums is that they are complete different Ye’s album is NOT hip-hop… (Which probably explains the Luda sentiment actually…) And for what it is I would say that Ye’s album is FIRE…
I’m sure Luda’s album will probably be good… That one song about him making his boy is personal chef and hookin up his peoples is good… But I think it’s more or less standard hip-hop.
On a general Kanye vs Luda note… Luda can NOT f*** w/ Kanye when it comes to performing and showmanship… I went to a (FREE!) Luda show once and was MAD… I wanted them to give me money for sittin thru that garbage (remember it was FREE)… yeah… it was that bad…

Ludacris got my vote, I love him and he’s got it going on.
Personally you can’t really compare the both when it comes to the both. they have two totally different styles of rapping. I purchased both and they both are good a$$ CD”S. I cant rock to luda at work so i rock to Kanye lol!! But on the real peeps i would give them both thumbs up. I just wish Kanye would stop his crying all the time. We all recongnize you YE!!!! Do yo thing. You are a money maker. Luda needs to be more recongnize he got his rap game down to a “T”. If ya’ll have the bread purchase both you wont be mad.
