And The Winner Is…..ROSS!

So I guess Mr. M.I Yayo wasn’t lying, he truly is the BOSS. Coming in at #1 on The BillBoard 200, Trilla, Ross’s sophomore effort, sold 198,000 units edging out hip hop heavy weights Snoop Dogg, whose Ego Trippin project sold an impressive 137,000 units and Fat Joe’s Elephant In The Room sold a meager 46,000 units despite his public disputes with Papoose and 50 Cent (they say beef sells albums, but I guess not in his case).
Not to take anything away from The Boss’s success, but Ego Trippin was a HELL of an album. You can still hear “All I Have In This World”(a song produced by Mannie Fresh from Rick Ross’s Trilla) thumping out the speakers of the TSX!
What album did you pick up last Tuesday, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, or Snoop Dogg….and why? SOUNDOFF PLEAAAASSSEE!

Big ups to Snoop and Joe for being in the game as long as they have been and remaining relevent. What an accomplishment. And nuff respect to Mr. Ross the apparent future of the funk. You go Boss!

come on now lets keep it real. no one new ross nor did they care about sellin dope all the time when they was bangin that gin and juice. congratulations to ross but compared to snoop he’s still considered a nephew amongst many. you can’t compare 17 years of relavance to 198,000 units.

I didn’t pick up any of ‘em, but Ross better enjoy his brief success until the Carter 3 drops…when ever that is.
BIGG SNOOP DOGG IS THE BOSS!! Ross cannot compare to Snoop. I’m glad he making his money ( the legal way) but Snoop Dogg is better and will always be better!! Much love Snoop!!

I gotta rep the hometown Carol City. Big up Triple C’s. Rick Ross has the best album out so far for the year 2008. I loved Port of Miami & I LLOOVVE Trilla even more. My favorite song on the Album is “Here I Am” the beat is crazy. Keep reppin’ for da M I ye-yoo.

Rick Ross is the truth. Both of his albums are official and his flow is hot. The Trilla album was very impressive. Snoop is a legend but as far as albums go, Trilla was the best of the 3. There a lot of hot beats and his flow is on point. Give credit where it is due.
