And The Winner Is…..ROSS!

March 19th, 2008

So I guess Mr. M.I Yayo wasn’t lying, he truly is the BOSS. Coming in at #1 on The BillBoard 200, Trilla, Ross’s sophomore effort, sold 198,000 units edging out hip hop heavy weights Snoop Dogg, whose Ego Trippin project sold an impressive 137,000 units and Fat Joe’s Elephant In The Room sold a meager 46,000 units despite his public disputes with Papoose and 50 Cent (they say beef sells albums, but I guess not in his case).

Not to take anything away from The Boss’s success, but Ego Trippin was a HELL of an album. You can still hear “All I Have In This World”(a song produced by Mannie Fresh from Rick Ross’s Trilla) thumping out the speakers of the TSX!

What album did you pick up last Tuesday, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, or Snoop Dogg….and why? SOUNDOFF PLEAAAASSSEE!

I’ve heard the Rick Ross album (TRILLA) and it’s crazy. Tracks 6, 10,11, 12, and 15 in particular are crazy but I can listen to the whole album. HE IS THE BOSS!!!

ROSS baby! He has some of the hardest tracks south of Brooklyn. Jigga is my #1 tho! Sorry Ricky.

I picked up all three, I love to support artist. I have to say that the Trilla CD is Slamming, but snoops is off the chain. The Elephant In The Room is not as hot as Fat Joes last one.

I brought the Ross and Snoop, I was really impressed with Ross’s album. Maybach Music is the coldest song of 2008 thus far. His collab with Wayne and Jezzy goes fed too! I wasn’t really impressed with snoops album but he does show flashes of brillants the Teddy riley produced tracks are hard but Life of the party and Stacks in my jeans are the coldest tracks on the album

For real… them 3 albums are hot, had to get all three! But Snoops is the best… it got all you need in an album,Ross comes in second for me… but close!
