Can I just stare at her for the rest of my life?You know what’s crazy? A friend of mine sent me a snippet of this song earlier this morning, but I didn’t pay any attention to it. Then, my homegirl downstairs told me, “Yo, where is that Alicia Keys song? The label just came and played it for us”.
As soon as I heard that, my spidey senses went ballistic. But since I was consumed with a couple of other tasks, I couldn’t really get my hands on the tune…UNTIL NOW!
“Doesn’t Mean Anything” is a very beautiful tune. I honestly think this joint is flawless. From the lyrics to the beat and everything in between- I DIGZ IT!I should’ve known Ms. Keys was coming with something after those beautiful vocals emerged on Jay’s “Empire State of Mind”.
Word around town this is from her fourth solo album. This was supposed to hit not till later this week or next week, but I felt otherwise, lol!

I have loved Alicia Keys as an artist ever since I first heard and saw her and she has not disappointed me yet! And I agree with the first comment. She IS always classy and sexy at the same time. Much love and respect for all she does!
I think Alyisha can sing very well. I like this song and it’s going to go very far.
I loved the performance on the VMA’S but lil mama messed it up trying to be apart of it when it was clear that she was not

I think the song sounds pretty good. I like it better than “No One” although I’m not sure it will be as big of a hit. It has a pop sound, not really R&B which is ok for me. I wasn’t that impressed with her vocals on her last album, I thought she screamed on “No One” and I didn’t like the falsetto attempt on “Like You’ll Never See Me Again.” I just felt like she didn’t find her true voice on that album, this new song sounds like a better attempt.
