Beanie Sigel & 50 Cent Preparing For War Against Jay-z This Friday?

Might as well start the debate now. Team 50/Beanie Sigel or Team Hova???This isn’t going to end well- a sentiment shared throughout the hip-hop blogsphere. Back end information first; Beanie Sigel slapped a bunch of dirty laundry on the table two weeks prior on a track called “What You Talkin Bout”. The open letter reminisced on some questionable happenings during his Roc-A-Fella tenure, most of which involved President Carter.
Beans made his round with an assortment of interviews staking claim that Hovito was a slime bucket- for lack of better words. Mr. Sigel needed answers and he needed them quick.
Jay, on the other hand, didn’t give two sh*ts about what Beans was hollering. He mildly responded to Beans’ claims basically saying, “Everything I did for you and you still have the nerve to complain?” I mean not in those words, but that’s what I got from it.
Fast forward to last week. Fif added his two cents (that man couldn’t WAIT) in regards to the family tussle and even offered up some details a good chunk of us were oblivious to. It was then when most of us saw exactly what was about to occur. Fif and Beans made it abundantly clear to every set of eyes watching that they were ready to play ball.
Hov didn’t budge. Despite the prospect of Fif signing Beans to the G-Unit fold, Hov didn’t move. The chatter continued. What I found interesting throughout this entire ordeal is once the rhetoric of Beans being signed to the Unit started surfacing, Fif made it very clear that was in FACT not the case. Fif stated he needed to hear the music first before any decisions were made.
Fast forward to 15 minutes ago. “I Go Off” is announced for a Friday the 13th release on ThisIs50.com. Let me be VERY clear with my theory of “I Go Off”..this is the start of something ugly.
Like I’ve been saying for the past 5 months, Curtis Jackson has been searching HIGH and low for a lane to open hand slap Mr. Carter, publicly. This is the PERFECT opportunity. What makes it better for him is, it won’t look as blatant since the real issue is Beanie Sigle’s disgruntlement lol. Yet and still, Fif’s jabs at Shawn Carter will be alive and well on “I Go Off”.
And since this is Beanie Sigel FEATURING 50 Cent, “I Go Off” will basically serve, in my opinion, as a G-Unit initiation event. Sort of like an audition. I honestly believe Fif’s placing the pressure on Beanie Mac to REALLY “I Go Off”.
With Beans targeting Hov and Fif orchestrating the entire production, I’m wondering if Mr. Carter has ANY intentions of addressing the aforementioned. One could only hope for something of the likes of maybe a “Takeover 2″ to erect through the gun powder of fired shots from “I Go Off.”
Or, I could be completely off base with this entire post and “I Go Off” just showcase why Beanie Mac is still one of the most underrated lyricists in the game today. Dah well, I guess we’ll have to wait until Friday the 13th to find out.
Hmm, maybe Dame Dash should mediate this situation before it goes tooooo far?
