B.E.T. You Haven’t Heard This: Beyonce

One down, one to go…. So I completely forgot shorty doo wop was dropping her single(s) today, but luckily, I have people in high places (REKA WHAD UP) to smack me on the back of the head when I occasionally slip up on an important occurrence, such as this. Mrs. Carter let loose both of her official offerings to the public today, and so far the responses have been on both sides.
Some like em, others hate em. Me, personally, I wasn’t expecting this (”If I Were A Boy”), at all, but I do find myself head nodding to “Single Ladies” (Big Ups To YBF for the assist) which was produced by Tricky Stewart and The Dream. Sidebar: A little birdie just informed that they may push the album back from its November 18 release date. Do I smell a Husband and Wife showdown?? Stay tuned….

Well I have to say that I love Beyonce first. She is an incredible artist, but I do not like the “If I were a boy” track. That is a little out of her character. Second, the “Single Ladies” track is a definite banger!!!! Love it, love it, love it!!!

wow is all that i can say. i guess that these songs will have to grow on me a lil but mabey single ladies was o.k. for me i have heard much better from her so with a lil more work they will both become a hit and be on the charts as # 1
didn’t like either song……expected more of a change since so much has transpired in your life…hopefully the remaining of the cd is worth it being bought…..needs to be more of an adult vibe….and let the younger females have a shot at keeping the vibe going
Well I’m personnally feeling them both and if you are not then you just don’t see the growth in her and the music she makes Keep doin you and making your music girrrrl. When she retires what ya’ll gonna say then.
I personally like both songs esp If I were A Boy, because it shows her vocal range and versatility on the industry. Rihanna can and will not ever be on Bey’s level…she cant create and master music that can top the charts in different genre’s as Beyonce has dont with this song here!
i don’t think Rihanna or Ciara can be brought up in a conversation about beyonce. those to artists make amazing music, but beyonce is in a whole different league. she is not just a singer, she is a business woman. she is like the female Diddy or Jay-Z. she is the only sista out there that is singin, designin clothes, acting, and all tha other stuff she does. Maybe in the coming years Rihanna or Ciara might be at that level, but as of now, they are not the same caliber as Beyonce. And trust me, that is a BIG maybe

these two songs are completely garbage i really never liked beyonce but i liked her songs but this is a big failure to bad then looks like ciara is taking over 08 with that go girl song now thats hot this is garbage im kinda glad this is her last cd cuz those tracks could’ve stayed in her mind oh and i thought if i were a boy was going to compare to ciara ’s like a boy definetly not like a boy is wayyyyyyyyyy better than that trash but anyways i hope she has better songs coming out than that and i highly doubt the video is going to make it any better sorry b try again its ciara and rihanna’ s time to take the thrown
