That’s right, JD’s digital darling is finally ready to be presented to the masses and you can bet your bottom dollar the good folks (LowKey) over at B.E.T. You Haven’t Heard This are providing you with your FIRST exclusive listen to this YouTube phenomenon. Without a DOUBT, this young honey dip has a seasoned voice (sounds better than some of these seasoned vets lol).
Her debut album, Dondria Vs Phatffatt will be hitting retail stores July 29 via SoSo Def/Island Def Jam Records. The single,”Can’t Stop”, isn’t your normal radio tune, but I can guarantee after several listens, this here tune will be in heavy rotation…TRUST ME!

I’ve watched Dondria since the beginning of her You Tube Days… Now to see her at So So Def, the girl has come So far!!!! Phatfffat “Cant Stop” is a Hit!!!
The song was alright. It isn’t all that great how like people tryin to make it seem. And trust I’m not hating I jus know real talent,It sounds fake and polished. Even with the similarities to Solange’s I Decided, Solange’s sounds better. I recognize the little marketing strategy, Solange was the only one to create a new sound on the radio and someone else had to find a way to utilize dat. Help Dondria find her own way because her music sounds mediocre
“Annoyed”..you are hating. What type of credentials do you have that we should take into consideration in that you’re saying that “you know real talent”…I’d take JD’s word over yours so you could have kept that comment. If you would listen to her songs then you would see why we love her. Believe me Dondria will find her own way because she’s truly talented and recognizes your comments as hateration, rather than constructive criticism. You sound very much like somebody who’s really a nobody who wants to be in her position. That’s ok…she’ll just use haters like you as a footstool to get to the top. Go ahead Dondria…fulfill you dream and forget haters like “Annoyed”….it should really be “Pathetic”!
Angel, the person named “Annoyed” is just telling it like it is. I have said several times myself that Dondria is a very talented singer AND WRITER!! I loved her original joints she wrote and by her being a new artist, i think it’s good when u come out with your original material b/c it represents you and your personal style. It’s just not a good look that her song sounds like a Knock off “Decided”. Sorry, call me a hater if u like, but i subcribed to her so actually i’m not a hater!! Anybody who knows a lil something about how the industry works would not be “dying” to be in her shoes right now! Only the teeny boppers who are hungry for fame! Just look at how cheesy that cover looks, that doesn’t even represent Dondria’s fiercness and can’t nobody convince me that she’s happy with the way that looks or with the fact that the name of her album is “Dondria vs. Phatfffat”. I just wish she was signed with Clive Davis (J Records)or somebody else, he seems to take care of his artists pretty well and represents them in a respectable fashion; ex. Alicia Keys, Mario, Fantasia…!
