Timing is everything. With Barack Obama snatching the democratic nominee last night, this track couldn’t have come at a better time. Even though Nas is being forced to change the title of his forthcoming Lp, the Queensbridge poet found another way to get his point across. Teaming up with popular mixtape DJ, DJ Green Lantern, the two will release a mix cd entitled The Ni*ger Tapes in the coming weeks.

Since I’ll be heading out to Las Vegas in 10 hours, I wanted to make sure I posted this song before my departure. Whether or not “Black President” will be featured on Nas’s new studio album remains to be seen, I do know for damn sure this track will ignite plenty of dialouge amongst the hip hop community.
