B.E.T. You Haven’t Heard This: Nas
July 2nd, 2008
Yes, I know I have been overdosing with the new music as of late, but hey, none of these other online outlets are providing you with the goodies, so why not fill that void? As we all know Nasir Jones is prepping the release of his new project, Untitled (formerly known as, NIGGER), which is slated to hit shelves July 15.
With the blogs/internets (I love saying internet that way) serving as the new mixtape/dj/a&r/promo hut, new music surfaces as much as the sun goes up and down (which is damn near every day) and it seems as though Nasir and the Def Jam personnel have recognized that because about 9 Untitled tracks have mysteriously popped up without any specific reasoning. Since I serve as the Music/News Producer over here at BET.Com, I’ve obtained all of the tracks and then some, but I’m only providing you with what I think is the best track thus far. No commentary needed for Nasir Jones material, the music always speaks accordingly…..
Nas- Breathe (Prod. By J.Myers & Dustin Moore)
I’m sure a majority of you readers are extremely internet savy, so it won’t be an issue for you to find the rest of the UNTITLED material. And when you do find the tracks, tell’em (LowKey) of B.E.T. You Haven’t Heard This sent you!
Sincerely
Low “I loooooooooooooooove the internets lol” Key

Hip Hop is dead…and the Godson who was man enough to tell you to stop fooling yourself to the contrary is BACK! For those of you who don’t know, let me put you on so you don’t look too foolish when the talks start up about the N here shortly…Nas IS Hip Hop, Nas is the TRUE best Rapper alive. From Illmatic to Hip Hop is dead, Nas has kept it Hip Hop. If you have any need to compare Nas to ANY RAPPER OR HIP HOP ARTIST IN THE GAME TODAY OR SINCE HIS DEBUT, I challenge you to put his albums against your favorite rappers, don’t be suprised when you walk away with a deeper perspective on life and on yourself when Illmatic, It was Written, I am… Nastrodamus, Godson, Street Disciple (both discs), Stillmatic, The lost tapes, and Hip Hop is Dead play through in your deck…or on your Ipod or whatever!!!
U GOTTA BE GREAT TO HAVE AN ALBUM CALLED NIGGER…NAS AND AZTEC R THE GREATES…NO JOKE
my boy is about to bring hip hop back to life
ressurect it Nasir Olu Dura Jones!!!!
I think nas is the best rapper there is and he is cute and sexy.
I love everything NAS has to say, he keeps it real and theres nothing wrong with that , is there? His albums are one of many that keep these yougstas today on the right track. Life is what you make it. Live smart.
A black man to call his name is album “Nigger” is alright with me. I suprise he didn’t call it “Nigga” or “Spade”.
where is hip hop? my #1 raper is world is naser j.
Yes, finally Nas is back and better than ever. I liked Nas since the very beginning when he came out with “it an’t hard to tell”. I think that’s the name of it. Listening to his music is like getting a history lesson. I will definitely buy his album when it comes out. You go Nas keep up the good work. First Usher and Now Nas, Yes.
NAS IS HANDS DOWN IS THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE PERIOD. TUPAC WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST AND ONLY NAS CAN MATCH THE LYRICAL CONTENT THAT TUPAC HAD,AT TIMES EVEN BETTER THAN TUPAC WAS. EVEN THE LATE NOTORIOUS BIG, SAID THAT NAS WAS THE BADDEST RAPPER AROUND AND THAT HE COULDN’T EVEN TOUCH NAS LYRICALLY WITH A 10 FOOT POLE. IF NAS STOPS DROPPING KNOWLEDGE, THEN REAL HIP HOP WILL BE DEAD OR SEVERELY ON LIFE SUPPORT. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT NAS,IS THAT HE DON’T GIVE A F%$K ABOUT RECORD SELLS,HE STILL GON KEEP IT REAL. FOR TRUE HIP HOP LOVERS OUTHERE, YOU GOTTA RESPECT NAS FOR THAT. HE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE, THE BEST RAPPER/LYRICIST IN THE GAME PERIOD NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 st off NAS is one of the hip/hops / rap legend of all time and ive been listning 2 him since i was 12 and now im 23. every lyrics and da luv 4 hip/hop is ludacris. he is an extra ordinary negga 2 me and tha ?#%$~% issue this album is going to be more of a message than a racial insult so black ppl recognize and let the hip/hops pioneers be what we need to know. i love you nasir jones ….Kelis i luv u NAS come see us in boston,ma plz im waiting!!!!!!!!!!
ive heard just a few songs on it and i was feeling it, i know that yall will too. NEW ORLEANS we aint goin nowhere.
I applaud Nas for consistently bringing our community hip hop with integrity, history, and knowledge – while so many others continue to be pimped by the industry. It is good to experience music with a message and to witness an artist who is actually lyrically accountable to his listening audience.
The substance in his music will take him much further than one day rap stars who cash in on today’s pleasures.
NAS is the best lyricist period.
Go on and do ya thing Nas. We gotcha back.
man, NAS is the best raper alive. you know what i love everything about this guy. even when he is gone people will go back and reference in history book. Go ma man, name the album the big word know nobody want to hear. we gotcha back.
Every album is always a classic / no other raper can do that / no some raper are now saying they are the best alive when they have no lyrics..take that lill wayne
N.A.S. REALEST RAPPER ALIVE!!!
