Bow Wow Returns To Music, Working On 8th Album

Looks like Shad Moss is pulling a Shawn Carter…….You know what, I can’t even blame the lil booger- I’d miss music too. Earlier this year, Bow Wow informed his faithful followers via RealTalkNY in April, “This is my last album because for me, there’s no more that needs to be done on the music side, I’ve done everything. And the scary thing is I’m 22 years old and I’m young. I’m still a baby, so it’s kinda like on the music side, I’ve been doing it since five. That’s 17 years of non-stop music, music, music.”
Well surprise surprise, Bow’s returning to the recording ring. Shortly after Mr. Moss announced the retirement, Bow still kept at making music. And to be fair, Bow did state he wouldn’t be making anymore albums, but still had the itch to record music for the masses.
Holding true to the gesture, Bow would go on to release several loose (meaning not attached to any specific project) tracks.
Apparently the “recording” itch has yet to be diffused because not only is Bow gearing up to release a DJ Drama “Gangsta Grillz” effort later this month, he’s now in the process of recording his 8th album, “Who Is Shad Moss”.
Informing the masses via his Twitter page, “Officially today is da 1st day n studio working on ‘Who Is Shad Moss album’ this will be number 8″, Bow Twittered.
Since leaving Columbia Records, Bow, who still doesn’t see eye to eye with the imprint, announced via his UStream web chat that he’s looking at several deals on the table but isn’t swayed by the financial offerings.
Says Bow, “I’m going to be honest with ya’ll, I have 4 deals on the table right now…..but it’s not about the money.” He added, “I’m not jumping quick to sign to any label right now. I’m not in a rush to sign no contract- I’m chilling. When I sign, I have to go right back into work..I’m chilling right now”.
With these new revelations, the question remains, where will Bow Wow sign? Def Jam…Interscope…Atlantic…E1 (Koch Records)…Capitol????? Regardless, I’m sure anywhere will be A LOT better than Columbia.

I’m he changed his mind. I really enjoyed the last album. I think Bow Wow is really talented. I can’t wait till he does. I’ll still buy it . He’s too young to retire.

I’m kinda glad that bow wow is comin’ back. I knew that he was comin’ back ever since he kept on releasin’ tracks, if u love something u ain’t gon’ stop, u gon’ keep goin’. bow wow prove to us that u got what it takes, that u hjave talent, that u deserve to be in the game, becuz over the past few years, u been slackin’, and I kno’ u don’t want that for ureself. keep hangin’ in there.
