Weezy’s overrated – period. He raps about the same basic concepts in all his songs. Yes, he is unique in his delivery, and swagger, but as far as lyrical content, Eminem would stomp him.
I’ll say this: Lil’ Wayne is doing more songs and collabs than any other artist right now – He’s workin, but his hunger for success has gradually diluted the product – “blah blablah blah”…”CANNON”. A true M.C. can and will go anywhere with his or her rhymes. Lil’ Waynes subject matter can probably be counted one hand.

Also, responding to “queniqua” – in stating: “any way hey he still white and wayne is more hood” – so what!! ***I’m white, and I bet I’d freestyle you and all your friends under the table (myspace.com/701kliks)***. Lil’ Wayne’s about as hood as Wayne Brady. Think about it – he’s rich as hell, and he’s rapping about guns, etc. Do you honestly think he’s still toting straps and hangin with Bloods (which by the way is just a fad among rap labels – first Game, now everybody’s a Blood). It’s not where you’re from, it’s what you’re doin’, and Lil’ Wayne ain’t A) banging, B) slangin C) pimpin, or D) shootin these days.

Em is a way better rapper than lil wayne. Alls you have to do to settle the argument is go to the record sales. And if that aint enough just listen to what people sayin in the industry. No body ever once claimed that em stole their rhymes or they’ve been ghost writin for him. Em set the bar, and lil wayne still hasnt got to his level. Being hood has nothing to do with bein a better rapper than someone. And if u wanna take it there em probably had just as bad as an upbringing as wayne, the fact that he can rap about more than drugs and money show how far ahead of wayne he really is
