I Just Caught That, Sort Of….

July 2nd, 2008

*50 Voice* Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa…..

Sorry, I just love singing that absurd melody lol. Anyway, so I was listening to G-Unit’s newest offering, Terminate On Sight at my desk and I noticed a line on the track, Rider Part 2 (Lol, I’m mad I’m acting like the song is new) in which Young Buck, in a haunting but ironic statement, states “Even if 50 drop me, I still wouldn’t sign”.

Ok, so here goes….

2 Weeks ago, the obvious and hilarious happened, remember? And though Young Buck is still TECHNICALLY signed to G-Unit/Interscope Records, what does the future hold for this man’s recording career. I mean, let’s think about it…Young Buck & 50 obviously won’t be seeing eye to eye anytime soon and we all know when 50 puts his foot down on any issue, that’s usually how the situation goes. Both parties, 50 and Buck, have publicly denounced each other without hesitation so, for the most part, a working relationship between the two of them is walking straight out the front door.

And since we ALL know 50 is pretty big on loyalty, Buck has since blown any chance of reconciliation with the G-Unit bunch since he went and put a verse on the remix to The Game’s current single, “Game’s Pain”, which also features several of 50’s other arch nemesis, Fat Joe and Jadakiss.

With it being painfully obvious that 50 and Young Buck are no longer BFF, the punchline, “Even If 50 drop me, I still wouldn’t sign” has been brought back to life. So the question I place in your possession is this, since 50 DID in fact drop Young Buck, what label would he fit nice with? Bad Boy? Roc-A-Fella? Cash Money? Derrty Ent (Nelly’s label), Terror Squad? Dipset? D-Block? BlackwallStreet (Game’s label)?, Grand Hustle (T.I.’s label)?

Sincerely

Low “Since 50 DID drop me, I wonder with whom I’m gon sign? (that should’ve been the line)” Key

I think Buck need to get his situatin together such as finances. I think Grand Hustle with TI would be a good loo for him. Buck is from the South and he needs to come home where heis accepted. He should have not even dealt with 50 in the first place. The dudes in the Norh are cold and be wanting to Run New York and world domination. Buck need to come home to the Southern comfort where people take care of each other and have each other’s back. We don’t tape conversations and try to humiliate each other.

Are you kidding me…This guy should go hide for a few, and figure out if he’s even still a man. You get punk’d out like that, when your image is supposed to be so tough. Let it go, find another career, get behind the board and start producing for some of the other phony gansta’s out there.

It doesn’t matter. Dude is just about done. I don’t think his last album even went gold. Like someone said, Buck still has to do 3 more albums under G-unit and by that time he would be competely finished. For the record, Fif didn’t do Buck dirty, Buck brought that on his self. He started running is mouth in the public with the “I didn’t get paid my royalties” and then the eff G-unit. To the New York comment, never mind that ain’t even worth me responding to.

Buck, I love your music. However, I feel you need to branch out and start your own label. I see the potential in you.The more young entrupenurs out there, the better the world will become… Be your won boss!

SMAC said on July 3rd, 2008

How young are y’all that keep saying Cash Money/Young Money? He did that already and got left, literally. Also, there is not One artist(don’t count Baby) whose been paid correctly on Cash Money(from UNLV to Wayne, not one). This is actually a pointless question. 50 is not going to just let him out of his contract so if he does go anywhere 50 is still going to be getting paid off him (see Game, or what Puffy did with LOX).

Clarencemurphy said on July 3rd, 2008

He is still signed to G-Unit as a solo artist, does he realize what he’s doing is only going to hinder his career. But, lets say he does get a release. I think it would be good for him to sign to Def Jam because all the southern artist there (Jeezy, Ross) are doing well with numbers and they have a whole list of A listers over there. If buck signed with them, hooked up with Ne-yo for his debut single it would definitely do well.

Big Dog said on July 3rd, 2008

You all act like you ain’t never cried before. He’s human everyone crys. He is still a man, thers no man that hasn’t cried. So what he is sign to gunit, 50 can release him if he wants to, just like Dre and snoop left DRow. Def Jam is the best place, because all those other labels have bosses thats in the rap game(T.I,Game, Nelly,Birdman.)He doesn’t need that. He’s needs a boss who is just a producer or businessman. So if he does better than the boss it won’t be no problem. Def Jam has the money to take him to next level.

50 has no love but for himself and I truly think that YB will be okay in the future if just returns home and make some good southern hip-hop. The south has risen again in the form of hip-hop did you catch the tight spot they had on the BET awards? They run this, I’m from Ohio and can clearly see New York, ironically the birthplace of hip-hop lose it’s touch with us. Buck will do just like Kanye and outsell any and all GGGG-Unit records.

2dimplzs said on July 4th, 2008

Buck is the best rapper out of G-U-NOT and always will be. G-Unit is garbage without him. Buck will rise above this and will get respect again in the rap game. It’s gonna take some time but it’ll happen. 50 treats the members of G-U-NOT like some out of pocket hookers. Buck should have never came crawling back. You better than that Buck!!! Buck will find his way eventually. Roc-A-Fella would treat him better I think. Any place than G-U-NOT!!!

2dimplzs said on July 4th, 2008

One more thing: 50 is a loser. If he’s not controlling people he’s not happy. Lloyd Banks and TONYA YA-YO are nothing but booty licking lap dogs for 50. Buck was always the only one to try to keep his individuality despite the unfortunate leak of recent events. LYDIA BANKS & TONYA YA-YO are happy followers of 50 and are happy to have 50 telling them when to pee and when to wipe their butts. It’s sickening that these grown men are allowing themselves to be pimped out like that. Buck is better off without G-U-NOT. He should finish out his contract with that label and go on with his life and never look back. Look at it as a huge lesson learned of what NOT to do!! Buck will rise again, Buck will rise!!!!!
