Trey Songz should have blown up by now. I mean, the man is a highly sought after collaborator and his own music is well-received. Plus, according to statistics, girls buy more albums, and the ladies love Trey. BET.com recently caught up with the Virginian to hear his side of the story.

my baby isnt selling because of PROMOTION. i dont see trey like i see these other dudes on T.V. or on the radio and stuff. my baby needs a new PROMOTER and then he can come up to where he belongs.he is so talented but not recognized for it. it really upsets me cause come on………yall cant be serious

It’s because he doesnt dance. It’s quite unfortunate, as well as that he’s not all that of a performer in general.
Most young black singers dance :
Usher, Chris Brown, Tpain, Omarion, Neyo, Lloyd ect.
