Jay-Z Gives Six Principles To Living The Best Life…..

Why wouldn’t you take heed to these six principles?????? It’s crazy how much my mother (Mama LowKey) is in tune with her son. I remember seeing this cover on a couple of blog sites several weeks ago, but wasn’t sure when it hit newsstands (or my secret newsstand for that matter). Any who, when I woke up from a magnificent slumber this morning to see the April issue of Best Life on my desk, I could only utter one thing: Ahhh, Mama LowKey strikes again.
Since my commute is about an hour and some change, I made sure I stayed awake to dissect the issue. Though the contents within the publication aren’t geared towards hip hop, I advise ALL of you (even my female counterparts) to check it out. I mean since we’re all concerned with money, style, health, sex (those that are old enough lol) and success, why wouldn’t you?
As I’m reading the feature on S. Carter (a dope piece written by Anthony DeCurtis), I noticed in a separate section that Young H.O. reveals six important tips on how to keep your focus, energy, and passion at the same level as when it was conceived once you identified your main goal in life. Listen up, Boss Hova is speaking…..
Be Your Own Biggest Fan…

I recently lost my job, then had to move out of my apartment because i could’nt afford to keep it i’ve been feeling down really down. Im tring to stay inspired and that really helped!
Anyone who has a goal in mind and runs into boundaries, obstacles, doubters and consistent pressures knows what I mean when I say, “Sometimes I just want to give up.” Dealing with those elements on a daily basis allows me to ask myself if certain things are worth it.
Each time I accomplish something or out-do myself, it gives me a reason why I shouldn’t give up. The amount of work and concentration invested in some things aren’t easy, but I feel accomplished when I see how far I’ve come. Striving for my goal changed my life and I am thankful for the growth. 365 days ago I was asking myself, “WTF am I dong????”
My progression is my inspiration.

This is what I love about Jay-Z. Life isn’t always easy but if you learn to never give up then anything is possible. Some of us don’t have good foundations. But God gives us the will to become who we want to be. We all go through bad. But it’s the good and the bad that shapes and mold our characters. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the molestation, the suicide attempts, the deppression. It made me understand my purpose and my calling. And these steps that HOV has provided are inspiring and excellent. Use them wether you want a mansion or a 2 bedroom house, wether you want to be a harstylist or a CEO. It’s for everyone. But you have to act like you want it.
