Kelis Returns With New Song, New Album & New Message…

Annnnnnnnd Kelis is back! I can’t wrap my finger around this one, but I’m still rooting for her. After a much publicized divorce/make-up/break-up with Nas, Kelis has returned to the element that she’s most comfortable in- music.
After listening to the track, I’m going to be honest- I don’t like it. It’s not horrible in the sense of the quality and what she’s saying. But, it’s just not my cup of tea. Different creative directions, however, are what separate you from the norm so I applaud Kelis for doing just that.
Kelis released a statement via her Twitter about her comeback, check out the screen shot below. And after that, check out her new song, “Acapella” as well
