Madonna Takes Over 106!!

She’s like a fine bottle of wine; she gets better as time progresses. Not only is she one of the BADDEST entertainers in the business, but she’s also one of the BEST! International superstar, Madonna stopped by BET’s 106 & Park to promote her new album, Hard Candy and BOY was it a sight to see.
While Madonna chopped it up with Terrance and Rocsi, we all (mainly me) stood there in AMAZEMENT as this cougar (a term for extremely attractive older women) displayed an effortless cool like NO OTHER. Yea I sound like a groupie right now, but I dare you to catch an in person glimpse of this blonde bombshell and act too cool for school….I DARE YOU!

This was one of the smartest things she could have done for this album. And to Judah on this blog, get over it, Madonna is more than welcome to come to B.E.T if she is using our music, than she needs to come and be with our people. Stop being so racist, and move up to 2008. I think this was a great idea and I am not even a huge Madonna fan.

I think it’s great that she finally decided to grace BET with her presence, she is talented, and looks great for her age, but the interview was boring. I felt that Terrance & Rocsi carried most of it and frankly I was bored. It looked like she had to think long and hard about the hip hop artists that she likes and I felt she could have shown the audience more love on air, especially the fanatic who went crazy everytime her name was mentioned. She’s a great artist, I just wasn’t sure that she really wanted to be there.

Are you kidding me…. Madonna’s a NOBODY now, that’s the only reason she went on 106 & park, she wants records sales. Everyone knows that hip hop/r&b sales more records than any other genre of musics right now, and of course she wants a piece of the pie. …Dont get me wrong, Madonna was a heck of a performer in her day, but she is past her prime, and 106 could have done without her.

I love Madonna and she has proved that she still as wild and as crazy as she was when she was young and I like some of her songs on the new CD, but I hardly think that this CD is her best piece of work. However; don’t get it twisted, BET is founded and owned by African Americas and Janet Jackson was inspired by Diana Ross. And to those who thinks Madonna looks great and young based solely on just genes are saddly mistaken. Madonna just had a face lift, notice the newly cat like appearance.
