Memphis Bleek To Release “The Process” November 24
August 20th, 2009
It’s about time S.Carter did something for Young Memphis (I kid)…..No disrespect, but I was wondering when we were going to see Memphis Bleek on an album cover instead of throwing the diamond up at every Jay-Z show.
In a strange chess move, Young Memphis is planning to release his 5th solo LP, “The Process” through independent imprint, Mass Appeal Entertainment. But here’s the kicker- Jay-Z is executive producing the project.
In addition to executive production credits, Hov will be featured in the project alongside Rick Ross and Pharrell. “The Process”, which hits stores November 24th will feature production from Just Blaze (Jay-Z’s, “Show Me What You Got”) & NO I.D. (Jay-Z’s, “D.O.A.”).
Bleek said of the new deal and album, “The Process” has been exactly that; a process. Taking what I’ve learned from a teacher and creating my own school. It’s time for me to handle my own business as a man and Mass Appeal supports the vision. I’m ready to share ‘The Process’ and Get Low Records with the world and along with Mass Appeal, I’m excited to take the next steps in my career independently”.
Umm, so yeah what are YOUR thoughts on Bleek’s new musical revelations- especially with the project being executive produced by Jay-Z???? Is this Bleek’s final chance to achieve that “real” mainstream success?
Memphis Bleek’s, “The Process” hits stores November 24.
Shouts to M.Lopez for the headz up!
SOUNDOFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!

Jay is going to executive produce it so im going to support. I hope they both going to visit 106 & Park. that would be dope!
The ironic quote in the article, “It’s time for me to handle my own business as a man…”, yet Jay is Exec Prod’ing. HAHA
This is how I feel… He never acheived that mainstream success when they (the roc) was runnin rap…Man Bleek just needs to put the %@~ down and play the office… Think about… When have u heard bleek on a feature not relating to the roc, and by another mainstream artist… When other artist from NY big up other artist…he never gets mentioned… No one is checkin for Bleek and he needs to realize that. The funny thing is I actually liked him. But in a NY with Fabolous runnin the scene… He has no chance… This is my opinion though… Good luck with the album
