If u listen to Plies first album he raps that he only is rapping b/c of his brother. I do not think he is “thugged out” in the way he trys to portray himself but I do think he knows and seen alot.

staying away from jail, thug life or goon behavior is not something you are rewarded for, neither is it an accomplishment: it’s something that you are supposed to do. that’s like a man saying “i raise and take care of my kids” and saying that’s an accomplishment…..that’s what you are supposed to do….you aren’t supposed to have a mile-long rap sheet, you not supposed to have a rap sheet period. I believe that if more people stand up for who they are and quit buying into selling images, music would be more relatable, and people won’t go out here believing in and living out these ol’ rap lyrics. it’s all just so silly to me.
