Five big dogs prep their 4th quarter offerings, who’s coming out on top?? Talk about clash of the titans, 5 of hip hop’s brightest stars are gearing up to thrash the industry with a flurry of new music, so much in fact, we all might get lost in transition. With November right around the corner, the first arsenal of new material released will come from the vocoder vocalist himself, T-Pain. Three Ringz,(November 11) from what we’ve heard thus far, is blanketed with features (Chris Brown, Ludacris, Lil Wayne). And though that doesn’t read badly about the project, it does give us the ambiance of collaborative effort instead of a solo one.
Next up to bat; Ludacris (Theater of the Mind) and Kanye West (808’s and Heartbreak)! An interesting match up, to say the least, these two outspoken MC’s probably have no intentions of creating a malicious throw down against one another, but I’m pretty sure, given the competitive nature of both parties, Luda and Ye are both looking to knock each others heads off come November 25. “Love Lockdown”, Ye’s first single that’s accumulated “Yeh and Neh” sentiments, has solidified a #3 place of residence on the BillBoard 100 chart for the past three weeks (the single was also released three weeks ago) while Luda’s first offering, “What Them Girls Like” co-starring Sean Garrett and Chris Brown, currently resides at #49.
Finally, President Carter and Curtis “Interscope” Jackson (50 Cent you guys, damn lol) plan to heat up December with their respective releases! Jay, who will roll out the Blueprint 3 red carpet on December 2, has remained mum about his project, but what we do know is Kanyeezy has strong armed the production duties from Timbo Tha King and won’t let go until Jay says uncle.
Fiddy, who’s releasing Before I Self Destruct on December 9, on the other hand, hasn’t said a word about what’s cooking in the G-Unit kitchen. We’ve heard minor rumblings about him, Dre and Em playing footsies in the studio last weekend, but that didn’t reveal much about none of their projects. However, I did manage to find out that 50 is planning to release a cut this week with production duties by both, Dre and Scott Storch (hmm, interesting).
With saying ALLL of that, out of what we’ve heard so far, what album are you copping/downloading/bootlegging this fourth quarter and why????
Sincerely
Low “I’ll be downloading/bootlegging all of em. Oh, you think I won’t?” Key

50 CENT/ Curtis always get what he need and doesn’t ask to somebody. He’s the TOP, he’s HIP-HOP KING u got. all other rap singers are sux. Just think Dr. Dre with 50, Eminem/ Slim Shady/ Marshall Mathers with 50, G-Unit with 50, Detroit with 50, more than 99% of USA with 50, Asia with 50, Earope with 50, Japan, China, Australia, Africa, Milkway with 50, it means other RAP/ HIP-HOP singers will wait a lil bit 20 years to become as 50 and than they may bbbeeeee might take a place.
The “KING” has officially prevailed as having the best hip hop album this year!…(so far)…..”Swagger Like Us”…the best hip hop track this DECADE!…T.I. …Lil Wayne…Jay Z..and Kanye on one track….I keep that track on repeat…..and 50 is DONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t ever go wrong wit LUDA. T pain will have some hits….how could he not with all the collabos…..Jay Z just keeps getting better with age and Kanye is simply a GENIUS! All in all there should be some HOT tracks this winter! Can’t wait!!!!!
kanye is going to get luda their both good but i think ye has it
then i think t-pain is going to take 150,000 because we’re tired of the vocoder
then its not even a matchup between jay and 50 did no one hear how bad kanye beat 50 last year image how bad jay would bet him ughh
i have to go with Level 32 im going to bootleg a couple of these albums
but not kanyes or jays those two are going to be some classics
50 ALLDAY!! JAY Z IS TRASH ..THAT JOCKIN JAYZ RECORD IS POOP. I WILL D/L JIGGA AND T PAIN.
Jay-hova, yey 2nd maybe fiddy 3rd
H.O.V.A or KANYE
Theater of the mind. All you have to do is listen to the track “undisputed” and you can see that Luda is not playing, nothing has ever been done quite like this before. Then i would have to say a tie between Kanye/Jay-z, followed by 50, then with T-Pain pulling up the rear. Bottom Line: This is about to be a real cold winter for these pretend MC’s, im copping all five of these cd’s on release date….
can no body touch hova, he floating on airr
T-pain is GONE win.
t-pain lover
I need that Kanyeezy and you know I love TPain.
Hip Hop is dead??? What… Neva!!! I can’t wait to get all these albums…
Don’t forget about Young Jeezy CD……I think his CD was better than T.I. CD. But lets not forget I liked them both. Far as the other CDs coming out, I can’t wait to hear all of them!!!!!
Yo big homie kanye west will have the best selling album this year. Yea u got luda and 50 and jay-z but kanye is the most creative out of them all.
l.a.x iz da best of da year
None of the above, waiting for some REAL hip hop. Holdin my breath for KISS MY @$$. BET just dont get the picture. THIS is the very reason u dont have RapCity NEMORE. SELLING UR SOUL for $$ is NOT ACCEPTABLE to REAL HIP HOPERS. Just bc YALL did it w/VIACOM. Dont mean we have to. Keep letting this commercial country bunkns guide u n the wrong direction.
I think Luda gonna have a better album than kanye. Since they droppin the same day both of em got a good chance of gettin #1 that week.
I will be getting Luda, Jay, and Ye the day that they are released….as far as T-Pain, I may bootleg it after i hear it in its entirety. 50 i’ll be ignoring; I haven’t liked any music he’s put out since his 1st album.
