One hearts the Auto-Tuner and the other writes like there’s no tomorrow. Take your pick!
Since I missed the Question of the Day yesterday, its only right I start off today’s SoundOff festivities with the first, Question of the Day. So it’s painfully obvious that The Dream and T-Pain are probably the most sought out Songwriters/Hook Creators/Producer/Auto-Tune advocates right now and anything they lay their vocals to seems catapults to another echelon.
Let’s take a look at both of their existing present and future collaborative/features list.

Ok, so here’s where it gets complicated. Since both of their track records are pretty impressive, this question is directed to all my up and coming singers/rappers and producers. If you had the choice, who would you pick to collaborate with on your first single?
Both, T-Pain and The Dream are extremely talented, but of course, each individual has something the other is missing. Scroll down, hit that comments section and explain to ME who you would pick and WHY? So what it’s Friday, we’re still getting it poppin over on this side of town.

tpain is good but he sticks to one style mainly
you always expect the same from him
dream makes it look more crooner and sexy
while tpain just makes it hip and now songs
if you ask me
besides dream has cute lips
if its a club type track then i would rock wit teddy pain but if its a slower, hip hop love type song then i’d pick the dream
To me i all comes down to what type of track your looking for. I think if u want a smash hit to fly rite to the top of the charts really quick then i think you should hit up T-Pain
But if u want a grown sexy type of vibe and your words to really mean something then u should go hit up The American Dream…
but hey its jus wat i think…lol

T-Pain is cool but hella annoying. Let’s see what he can really do w/o AutoTune (BTW, Cher was the originator w “Believe”). The Dream is THAT DUDE! I do miss the good ol days of mainstream RnB (NeoSoul is real RnB, the junk considered RnB now, is a hybrid of faux hop) but Dream has the lyrics, composition, etc. I’m down w The AMERICAN DREAM!

T-Pain is like da Lil Wayne of RnB rite now. He make every song hot. N people b hatin on him bcuz he got da voice thin but da man is really talented n he can really sing. Dream is alrite though, but im a go wit PImpin T-Pain. Sorry Dream, I luv ur girl though. lmaoooooooooo

I love tpain but I am going with the american dream. The moment I am in right now is my slow love songs hooks. Every song the dream & tpain has done I have on my ipod. The American Dream all the way……. also to sassy chica – cher was not the first. Roger troutman was the originator and teddy riley carried the torch also.
I WOULD DEFINITELY PICK T-PAIN 2 B ON MY FIRST SINGLE B-CUZ EVERY SONG HE IZ ON IZ A HIT.BUT IF I WERE 2 CHOOSE A WRITER I WOULD DEFINITELY GO WIT DREAM B-CUZ HE IZ MORE THAN AN ARTIST AND EVERYTHING OF HIS DOESENT SOUND THE SAME LIKE T-PAIN’S.
