How many can he win????? We all knew Weezy was going to get acknowledged in some way, shape or form for his work ethic this past year, but we had no idea the lil martian was going to lead the brigade. I might not be the biggest Weezy advocate, but he damn sure deserves a pat on the back for his efforts in 2008.

Addressing his Grammy situation in his latest blog, Weezzy brings up some interesting issues. Says the long haired hip hopper, “Do I think I’m going to win any? No, because you know politics; I think they think it’s enough to just nominate me or something. They’ll probably give me one next year. Everyone’s saying they nominated me for that many so they could have a reason to give me one. They’ll be like, ‘He has to get one, he was nominated for eight”. He later adds, “I hope that’s the case, but I keep telling people ‘I don’t think they’re going to give me any, I think it’s just the nominations.” 

Whatever the case may be, I’m going to predict he’ll bag at LEAST two. Though he’s up against a couple of titans in every category, I think the awards for Rap Album of the Year and Best Rap Song of the Year belong to the Louisianimal. “Lollipop” torched the Billboard charts, destroyed radio, and annihilated MTV and BET. As for The Carter 3, that’ll probably be the only album to sell 1 million copies faster than George Bush ducking a reporters’ Gucci loafer.

On to the obvious, At this years Grammy Awards, how many Grammy’s will Lil Wayne take home? And from which categories????
