Busta Rhymes…..LowKey….Real Talk…..REAL DOPE!
Busta Rhymes doesn’t hold his tounge for ANYONE, so when I called him an old school artist in the nicest of ways, he politely corrected me in the NICEST of ways as well. Since there’s a huge SURGE of new artists making their mark in today’s culture, some of the elder artists are sort of a pinch in regards to relevancy.
However, good ol Bus-A-Bus (who talked about his new album, Blessed, on THIS side of town) and several otheres have found various ways to keep busy during these trying times. Check out what Busta had to say about evolving with hip hop’s newer generation…..
” I don’t feel that I’m old school so I don’t usually have that problem, for one. Two, I think that whoever is considered old school, has to give the new dudes material that they can’t front on, today. I say that because we’ll never be able to live in the past, so we can’t sit around and be frustrated about sh*t not sounding the way it used to feel, now. We have to evolve with the times and realize the artists grow. Its obvious things are going to be different from when the last dude was doing it a couple years ago. Even when we came after the LL’s and Run DMC’s was different from the way they did it and what makes LL so special is he continues to evolve with the current dudes because he not only had the ability to be ahead of what he did, but he had never had a problem changing with the times and reinventing himself when he was supposed to. As long as artists keep evolving, no one can really front on you; a fan or another artist. Forget what you used to do because people can’t see that, can’t feel that and they aren’t doing any of that right now; stop talking about what you used to do.”
How much longer does Busta Rhymes have left????? C’mon…..let me know, ya’ll!!

da hell c’mon when has busta ever let us down. who in the industry brings as much energy to the performances name one please tell me. see busta has been my favorite since LONS and keep talkin I might have to drop a track or two on busta’s behalf.(myspace.com/iamkn) he is a very polished seasoned artist rap is his character.. when has he ever droped something to make the fans think busta was slippen every track bangs now tell me what other so called old school rapper is doin it like him. there’s rappers that are fallin off that just started rappin 8 years ago please. BUSTA I GOT U it aint about where ya from where ya been what u did its bout keepin it fresh and there’s always a new school teachem bus a bus teach em ur forever a leader and great representation of a real black man. talkin bout busta y I aughta….&^$(…(*&^*%*%(
….and another thing u can’t call him old school when he droppin wit new artist call him old school if u aint hear from him in 7..8 years and then he try to come back..he never lost his swag if anything he taught us how to keep our swag fresh…he is a perfect symbol of an artist who did what they were supposed to do in the game he sure aint struggling to keep up he kept his own style shedded some old ways and grew up into a well rounded individual. who can do that and still be hot…… he went through the artist school wit da freshman sophomore junior senoir albums then hit u wit da undergrad then the grad then masters now he philosphically speaking to us Dr. Busta Ryhmes he dont need the game the game needs him. he is the guideline he sets the bar high he is the bar…only two other rappers is game and weezy…..if your having a bad day watch a performance by busta his energy is contageous chea PGH allday can’t spell paper without the PA here we go steelers

One thing that Bust has is longevity. U cant say that about alot of rappers these days, buuuuttt, over the years Busta Bust has evolved into Busta Bum! I need more than jus 1 or 2 hits per album, ya dig! But my opinion on dat wont stop me from coppin da next one!!!!!!
Busta needs 2 go on a diet & get back in da gym seen his last video dat stomach is makin him look sloppy as f**k. He’s looked really good in the past so I know he can get his stuff 2gether again……….I Love his crazy azz!

In July , I was in Greensboro, NC. Busta was staying at the same hotel we were staying at! When people tried to talk or evan get a picture with him, he was VERY RUDE. He must remember he wouldn’t be NOTHING without his fans! We lost a lot of respect for that SO-CALLED Rapper and that day he lost some fans. REALLY….. when was the last time he had a hit anyway? He should have been glad that he was getting some attention!!!!
