Remy Ma Denied Marriage To Papoose, Sentenced 8 Years!

I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. Either that or Remy’s beau, Papoose, was attempting one of the most absurd jail breaks of all time. According to the NY Post, the sacred, but brief ceremony between Remy Ma and Papoose that was scheduled for Monday (May 12) was cut short when authorities confiscated in what they thought was a universal handcuff key from Papoose. Not only were the two denied marital bliss, but Papoose was also banned from Riker’s Island indefinitely.
Papoose, who denied any type of motive of planning to break out his wife to be, barked at reporters “I don’t walk to talk, get out of my face. You all write racist articles”. Remy Ma, who will now have to wait until she’s moved into maximum security at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Westchester County to wed her lyrical finance, will be entitled to conjugal visits once the two tie the knot.
While I’m sure Remy pleaded her guts out before her fate was decided, the Post pointed out an interesting fact in which I also stated when Ms. Smith began jibber jabbering on KaySlay’s radio show last week. Any plea she makes before the judge will probably be disregarded since she had a GREAT sense of humor during her incarceration.
Unfortunately, it gets worse. Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, has been sentenced to 8 years behind bars for shooting an acquaintance outside of a Manhattan nightclub July 15, 2007. Remy Ma was found guilty on assault charges in the month of March and originally was facing a 25 year sentence before today’s 8 year ruling.
Sources asserted the rapper could be seen in tears after the verdict was revealed in Manhattan’s Supreme Court this morning. Remy’s defense team plans to appeal the ruling in the near future.
Sad, sad, SAAAAAAAAAAD day for Remy Ma. Go head ladies and gentlemen, SPEAK ON IT!

Keep your head Remy; alittle dirt and mouth is not enough for your path to freedom. Put some focus on your attorneies opening the case in the near future. In the meanwhile, create; not just for yourself but, for others around you. Time is what we know best use it wisely.

Well personally I don’t think people make mistakes I think people don’t think before they do anything, people choose what they want to do whether good are bad, and their’s an outcome to every choose a person makes,people know the consequences, but they do it anyway……so by saying this she deserves what she get, I don’t know why people have to prove a point to someone else by doing the negative things they do. Whenever someone tries to act all hard, to me their weak people…and she’s weak in my eyes…that’s the game of life, to bad she didn’t play her hand right. Human Beings are the most ignorant living creatures on earth,their so brainwashed in today’s society it makes no sense to even be alive.
Was 8 years worth the cash that was stolen? NO! Freedom is priceless! Remy should have pressed charges against the person who stole her money. She could have easily made that money back with her talent and now she’s just another statistic!

you get what you deserve. even if she was white it should’nt make a difference look at martha stewart she did a little time to so race should not be a factor anyways. you do the crime you do the time. with the three officers that got off i think was not right. my heart go out to her son because he has to grow up eight years without his mom. remy made a selfish decision when she shot that girl. if you got money like you say then what she took should not have matter anyways that says she aint got money like that.

I never understand why these young female rappers want to be so hardcore.
Remy is always talking about how her son is so important to her. Obviously her son was not on her mind when she shot her friend. Remy was just plain selfish. I do not understand how people put on like they are tough but as soon as the sentence is handed down they want to cry. Every action has a consequence so Remy do your time and take responsibility for your actions.
I pray that all works out. You see we must be careful of the company we keep. When you have children who are involved it gets complicated. 8yrs is all long time away from her son. But who are we to judge her for her wrongs. She knows she made a mistake. Let this be a valuable lesson to us all. To know that it doesn’t matter how much money you have or if your a celebrity. The end result can be imprisonment. Papoose, Remy, and her son. Remeber that GOD don’t put more on you than you can bare. This is a test to create unity with you all. As well as to humble yourselves and not remain caught in the lime light. You are now and forever in my prayers.

I know underground rappers who probably will never get a chance like she did and she threw it away over nothin.
