Remy Ma Denied Marriage To Papoose, Sentenced 8 Years!

I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. Either that or Remy’s beau, Papoose, was attempting one of the most absurd jail breaks of all time. According to the NY Post, the sacred, but brief ceremony between Remy Ma and Papoose that was scheduled for Monday (May 12) was cut short when authorities confiscated in what they thought was a universal handcuff key from Papoose. Not only were the two denied marital bliss, but Papoose was also banned from Riker’s Island indefinitely.
Papoose, who denied any type of motive of planning to break out his wife to be, barked at reporters “I don’t walk to talk, get out of my face. You all write racist articles”. Remy Ma, who will now have to wait until she’s moved into maximum security at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Westchester County to wed her lyrical finance, will be entitled to conjugal visits once the two tie the knot.
While I’m sure Remy pleaded her guts out before her fate was decided, the Post pointed out an interesting fact in which I also stated when Ms. Smith began jibber jabbering on KaySlay’s radio show last week. Any plea she makes before the judge will probably be disregarded since she had a GREAT sense of humor during her incarceration.
Unfortunately, it gets worse. Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, has been sentenced to 8 years behind bars for shooting an acquaintance outside of a Manhattan nightclub July 15, 2007. Remy Ma was found guilty on assault charges in the month of March and originally was facing a 25 year sentence before today’s 8 year ruling.
Sources asserted the rapper could be seen in tears after the verdict was revealed in Manhattan’s Supreme Court this morning. Remy’s defense team plans to appeal the ruling in the near future.
Sad, sad, SAAAAAAAAAAD day for Remy Ma. Go head ladies and gentlemen, SPEAK ON IT!

Well personally I don’t think people make mistakes I think people don’t think before they do anything, people choose what they want to do whether good are bad, and their’s an outcome to every choice a person makes,people know the consequences, but they do it anyway……so by saying this she deserves what she get, I don’t know why people have to prove a point to someone else by doing the negative things they do. Whenever someone tries to act all hard, to me their weak people…and she’s weak in my eyes…that’s the game of life, to bad she didn’t play her hand right. Human Beings are the most ignorant living creatures on earth,their so brainwashed in today’s society it makes no sense for them to even be alive. That’s why I do me and only me,I hate drama…..the people of this country are srewed up, VICTIMS OF MIND CONTROL. On that note I agree with TT
And another thing I don’t believe in sin, because if there was sin then Jesus would’nt have died for that, people was given free will to do what they want, now in this world they’re rules, if you commit a crime that’s part of the rule book then you get a sentence what ever it is. If you make a choice in life, there’s always going to be an outcome whether good are bad. So get over it and quit blaming others for your choice that you made.
Miss Thang talked a lot of Sh*?t before the trail and now she is crying like an innocent baby. Getting what you deserve is a hard pill to swallow for wanna be thugs and thug’ets. She better wash alot of panties in jail in order to stay safe or papoos better send her a case of little debbies every month.

See all you people who are turning this into a racial matter. These people are convicted by a jury of there PEERS!!! Do you know what that means? That means white, black, hispanic, asian. The jury had to come to an agreement, so why is it that you think it is only the white people who is to blame??? Hate to say it but, the black folks on that jury thought these people were guilty or not guilty TOO!!!!

It really is a shame that so many people of our young people have bought into this Grand Theft Auto notion as a lifestyle. You can not live your life like a fairy tale song or video or video game. People these things are illusions. The real world is hard, cold, and unforgiving. Mistakes or bad choices can cost you more than your life, they can take your youth and leave you old and useless and miserable. People make better choices and live slower and smarter.
I agree that she should be given time! She triedd to kill someone overr 3,000? Remy Ma know better than that. Thats not much to her, so why would you wanna take someones life, over that? Over anything!! Obviously something aint right in her head. She really need to think about what she did. I like her music, But i lost alot of my respect for her. Im dissapointed in her. She has a son, when she did that, what i want to know is what was going on in her head. Obviously not her son, not her music, not her life, that maybe she could go to prison, not about the victims life, that maybe he had a family to go home to. Im just dissapointedd in her. She didnt think at all. Im more than certain, she regret what she did. All she can do is forgive herselff , Ask the Lord for forgivness, and keep getting up. She cant dwell on the situation. She need prayerr.
I just don’t get how so many people can’t accept the fact that this rapper as well as so many others are breaking the law!should concern people. when you break the law you go to jail it’s as simple as that. Remmy Ma had a choice and she choose wrong. Isn’t it hard enough for black people to be viewed posivetly? Do we really think it helps our case when we have high profile people doing things the wrong way. It may not be fair but its life and black people in the media shouldn’t handle their business so messy.

Lets be honest you cannot just pull out a gun and shot because you are mad, hell she had plenty of time to file reports, sue her for way more than $3,000, and why not just fist fight? I feel bad for the lady that got shot not her becuase when you try to be so tuff, and you get caught up this is what happens. In the end people can wine and cry over her 8yr stint but guess what if you were in the car and you were told you had to do the time to you would ball and tell the whole story!
