Return To The Throne Pt.2…..

We allllll knew it was bound to happen, especially me (can’t say I didn’t warn you guys). It looks like President Carter is indeed gearing up to record is 13th solo studio project. However, neither a date or title to the new body of work has yet to be determined.
While touring in the UK, Mr. H to the Izzo told MTV Base, “Well, after the tour, I’m going back home and we’ll look at it and see if I can start a project this year. I would love to do it, to be honest with you. It would be a great thing to do when I come home from tour, but it’s vibe. I can’t say, ‘On this date this is going to happen.’ If I get home and the vibe is right, it’ll happen. If not, then top of next year. I can’t give you the concepts or themes, but I’ve got a very clear direction of where I want to go with this one, and we’ll see how it works.”
To respond to his “vibe” remarks, I honestly think Mr. Beyonce Knowles has at least 75% of the project in the can. He’s distributed a hefty amount of guest feature verses thus far (Scroll these posts to check what Hov’s done so far) and when you tour as often as this man does, it’s impossible to ignore the feeling of creating additional material.
With Weezy sellin a mill, a milli, a milli his first week up to bat, do you guys think Hov could pull off the same feat, if not better? And will Hov’s new project be deemed the newest highly anticipated project of 2008?

for instance, when i speak of john makenrol, it is not necessarily how he serves the ball. it is more about his attitude on how he played the game and held himself to high standards. the trash talking and racket breaking just was a motivational tool he used to stay at the top of his game. not only that in my opinion, but to also add some antics or drama to a game to make it a little more exciting to watch and remember
oh and exit 13 is linden blvd because if you make the right on brookville and another right a the next light you go into elmont.
but if you continue straight past nathans and some barber shops, ect. you run into the famous corner (famers and linden) then on to merrick blvd and linden past guy brewer on to rockaway blvd and toward howard beach where the white people occupy
Jay, could do this album and sell just as much as wayne did. Every one loves to see and hear good music, that’s also has swagger to it. Personally I hope he dropes another album soon. I love his work!
Honestly, Im tired of people comparing Lil’ Wayne to Jay-Z! When you listen to the two….side by side! Jay is waaaaaay more mature, more grown up in what he has to say.
Lil Wayne is hot! But compared to Jay? ….he really has no chance….I’ll take that back! With this new generation he does! With people like myself that were raised on Rakim, Kool G Rap, Nas, Common…you know the greats? Lil’ Wayne doesnt stand a chance against Jay-Z!
To me Ludacris is better than Lil Wayne in terms of “having sumn to say worth saying”.
I mean, I feel like I know Jay-Z from his lyrics. I feel like I know Ludacris, and Scarface and Common.
All Lil’ Wayne talks about is Money, Jewelry, Cars and boast about how “hot (fresh)” he is…to me thats tired!
I live in Georgia…and honestly these….Lil’ Waynes, Soulja Boy, bubble gum, Ice Cream Truck beats are getting on my nerves!

Jay is the best rapper alive. But he isnt as commercial as wayne. The next album wayne drops isnt going to sell a million because the Wayne heads will have moved on to the next rapper. And karlton i dont no where you have been but nas is everywhere and so is busta

Lil wayne got a lot of catching up to do before you can comapre him with Jay-z. the ice cream or candy shop beats not cutting. because the next 5 to 10 years from now you want people able to look back and say this song still have some flavor or vibes to it. Jay-z has perfect that art and thats why Reasonable doubt and Blue print albums can speak for themsevles not say his other ablum not that good enough. Right Jay-z is a business man and is about to master that craft too. Lil wayne have start properly yet.

I disagree with Collins. I think Jay Z is actually more commercial than Lil Wayne. Weezy had a lot of hype surrounding this album and it was highly anticipated, so it sold very well. Lil Wayne is not as recognized worldwide as Jay Z, therefore, can’t be considered more commercial. Jay Z isn’t an underground rapper. He’s very well recognized and respected by many demographics internationally. Lil Wayne doesn’t have the same buzz overseas… I’m not a hater. I think Wayne is hot and I love all 3 of the Carter albums. But he just isn’t there yet in comparison to Jay.
Lil Wayne has the potental to be compared to J, but he needs to get out there and get mentored by the best. He can’t live up to the potental with Cash Money. He is too big for that label. I am waiting for NAS. Let me know wen Nas cd comes out.
