R.I.P. Isaac Hayes 1942-2008!
According to Sheriff officials in Memphis Tennesee, R&B Soul legend, Isaac Hayes has passed away at the age of 65. Hayes, who’s best known for his work on the epic movie soundtrack, Shaft, was found unconscious next to a still running treadmill in his Memphis, Tennessee home.
Steve Shular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, said in a statement that there was no indication of foul play when Hayes was discovered. After the singer was transported to a local hospital, attempts to revive Hayes failed and the singer was pronounced dead around 2pm.

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Mr. Hayes was a very talented man who entertained adults and children (by playing the voice of a character on south park) he will be missed. I shall keep the Hayes family in my prayers. Please remember he’s in a better place now. God Bless You All.

My heart goes out to the family. God came to get his son because his work down here was done so god wanted his servant to be with him. His life is not over it is just the beginning .
The music world has lost an nostalgic, prolific icon and my condolences goes out to the friends and families of a music legend. Growing up, i must say my love for music came from Isaac Hayes, as well as other music legends that have gone on before him. In this time of grief, we have to reflect on the life and times of Mr. Hayes, and thank God for blessing us with a man who could touch our very souls when we are down with his music.

Just wanted to send prayers to the hayes family especially his youngest child. R.I.P. Black Moses. Man my favored song was I Stand Accused he was on trial for loving his woman… Wow what a song.

Most anybody over 50 will always know and remember the genius and greatness of Isaac Hayes. Man we came of age with his music. My favorite piece of music by him is on the Hot Buttered Soul entiled Walk On By. Omg was I the only one who played the instrumental intro to that song over and over and over again? He made everyone want to hang a chain around their neck…. He stood as the epitome of what one aspect of Black manhood represented…. I’m 53 now and was blessed to see his rise and claim to immortality. I always make sure the Hot Buttered Soul is nearby. The first 50 seconds of Walk On By was so mind blowing for me that I would experiece an awakening of sorts…. and lets not forget his royal manner…..he was born under the sun sign of Leo and he represented us leos very well…he showed the pride…the regalness…the majesty…did he not look like a king in those robes that he wore? He was magnificent. He even showed his humorous side playing the voice of Chef in on South Park. He was truly brilliant and a talent like no other.
To the Hayes family, our condolences goes out to you, we never expect these moments but God planes over all and any planes we precived to have for our loveones, but just know that I am a loyal fan of Mr.Hayes and ” I Stand Aquised of Loving you” all ,May God Bless and keep you

Bernie Mack and Isaac Hayes have left this world, but made a positive impact on so many people. We love you and will miss them both.

To the family I pray that GOD will mend your broken hearts for the bible tells us that weeping will indure for awhile but joy is going to coming in the morning. He is going to be missed by all of his family,friends,and fans.
