R.I.P. Isaac Hayes 1942-2008!
According to Sheriff officials in Memphis Tennesee, R&B Soul legend, Isaac Hayes has passed away at the age of 65. Hayes, who’s best known for his work on the epic movie soundtrack, Shaft, was found unconscious next to a still running treadmill in his Memphis, Tennessee home.
Steve Shular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, said in a statement that there was no indication of foul play when Hayes was discovered. After the singer was transported to a local hospital, attempts to revive Hayes failed and the singer was pronounced dead around 2pm.

Getting the news of this icon passing was disturbing. I loved Issac as I loved his music. He will definitely be missed. However, I would like to say….

This was a very sad week because of two positive african american men who treasured their families, to Mr. Bernie Mac who l loved dearly I’m deeply sadden and this is a total shocker. You and Mr. Hayes loved what you did he provided great music to the world, and you made the world laugh you both will be truly missed and I mean it from the bottom of my heart, I pray that God watch over your loved ones and get them through this tragic time.
