MY prayers go out to the Vandross family. Luther was a fabulous man and could not have been without the beatiful mother that born him to this world. Peace unto you!!!

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Vandross family it has been painful to see should a wonderful family lose so many so fast but God has his plans written already and we just have to respect it. We need not worry because they all are in a better place their in their father’s house safe and at peace. My God watch over and protect the remaining family and soothe their pain.

It’s a wonderful thing when you are called HOME. I am so glad it was a peaceful homegoing. The Lord was letting us see what a person who has lived the life of Christ can receive the best. She was a person of great strength and humbleness. We need to remember that in the times ahead.RIP Mother Vandross you most certainly earned those heavenly wings. Enjoy heaven everlasting gifts.

Mother Vandross was so heavy on my heart several weeks ago and I just searched her name online to find she had gone Home to be with the Lord. What a lovely, strong, beautiful Angel on Earth who birthed a son that (continues) to touch all of us by his ageless voice-I still have Luther with me via media player Dear Mother Vandross, and you remind me SO much of my own Dear Mother (who passed away last June) who also birthed children who are very active with music. No one but God could have Given you the strength and courage to face what you did in this life, and even after all of that, you never stopped loving the Lord. That in itself is a Testimony to share with those who loved and knew you, or in my case, I wish I did. God Rest your Soul Dear Mother Vandross-I know you Rejoice in Heaven!!

My heart and prayers go out to the rest of the Van Dross family. I knew all of them. Evangelist Mary Ida Van Dross,out lived her husband and three children. Ann, an accomplished actress, who can be seen in the leading role of the mother in,”Straight Out of Brooklyn”, was a sweetheart. I was helping her prepare to take over a role I was leaving, in Anne Thompson’s acclaimed play,”You Shouldn’t Have Told”. Pat was an incredible caterer. We all know Luther’s accomplishments. Only a strong woman of God can guide such talented children to achieve what they did. I was at Luther and Evang. Mary ida’s funeral’s, what “HOMEGOING’S” they were! RIP God’s eternal care, until we meet again at God’s throne!
