Rumors……….UGH!!!!
I understand rumors are a thing of the hip hop culture, believe me, I get it, but you also have to understand that when stuff is just thrown out in the blogosphere for shock value, it’s really nothing but chit chatter that commences from an individual who’s extremely bored.
I remember hearing about the Katt Williams rumor in the barbershop from someone who got a text saying, “Katt Williams died in a plane crash”. Anyone that knows me understands my distaste for rumors, as a whole. So when I heard this ridiculous banter, I was two seconds from yelling out, “Do you guys have NOTHING better to do?” Then, as the night progressed, I discovered another preposterous rumor about Lil Wayne being killed in a gang shootout in New Orleans after a concert. HUH????
The details hovering over this rumor were a bit more detailed, but still senseless in the same token. Word is The Martian was gunned down by members of the “Crips”. Huhh x2?????? Whoever started that moronic rumor even had the courage to write up an article and send it out to the public. Common sense tells ALL of us that if Weezy was to ever be riddled by bullets, the amount of texts, emails, phone calls sent through Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T would probably dismantle each network, that’s how serious it would get!
I beg all of you, even though they may be just rumors, please do your best at fact checking them before you open your mouth to Lisa with The Big Mouth. As fast as information travels through this industry, I’m growing tired of 1AM text messages from people asking me, “Is Wayne REALLY dead?” And if you happen to be Lisa with The Big Mouth, check your email recipients and make sure I, LOWKEY, AM NOT on your mailing list.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m on the hunt to find out if Kanye and Aubrey from Danity Kane are really dating, lol!

Praise the good LORD. I was sick when I heard about Katt then the next day i heard Lil Wayne died of a drug overdose. I filtered through BET news.com all day and nothing, so I knew something was funny. But I was still interested to know the truh. Thanks for putting that out there. Now since all of that is over with. I am just gonna speak it this. People do not fully understand the power of words! I will tell you something that is definatly not a rumor.
