Soulja Boy Vs. Ice T?!?!

So I was browsing the internets earlier this morning and I stumbled across a lil tit for tat grudge match between Soulja Boy and Ice-T (yea, I was shocked just like you). Now it’s come to my attention that the internet is a great forum to respond to allegations, hateful responses or just another lane to make absurd comments.
With that said, Ice-T has taken it upon himself to denounce the success of Mr. Soulja Boy himself in a brief but yet aggressive interlude on the release of an upcoming mixtape. Ice, who is an obvious Legend in this thing we call HIP HOP goes on to tell Soulja Boy to “Eat a….”! Yea, kind of harsh isn’t it. He then informs the youngster that he single handedly the art of hip hop due to his “Superman” antics. The part that made me chuckle was when Ice said, and I quote, “Man you ni**az is looking happy and sh*t” What in the hell??? Why in the world is Ice-T taking his frustrations out on Soulja Boy’s happiness? Like honestly, is it really that deep?
Like I said before, the internet is a great lane to deliver a response, because Soulja Boy went ahead and recorded his rebutal to the Westcoast legend. Though Soulja kept calling him “Old” and even asserted Ice-T was around before the first Walmart was conceived (that was funny as hell lol), he does have a point in his mini rant. If Ice-T is that upset about the quality in today’s hip hip culture, why not hop of the hater horse and alter what needs to be altered. Anyway, check out what Soulja had to say in his 7 minute response….

ICE-T need to pick on some1 his own age and let SOULJA BOY do his thang without having to be side swiped by a throw back rapper who clearly forgot where he originated from. ICE-T is another person who some how paved the way for up-comin rappers and if he has a problem with SOULJA BOY, out of repect for the game and soulja boy, he should have been man enough to talk to soulja boy and let him know what problem he had with his music or himself instead of disrespecting soulja by saying nasty things. ICE-T, GROW UP man and let soulja be a soldier.

SB is right.If you don’t like where Hip-Hop is going get of your a** and do something about it. Talk to the up and coming artist give them guidance,instead of sitting on yo a** and complainig about it.

its all crap first of all SB isnt even hiphop! think of him as a pop star! Ice T is a rapper not a hiphop artist! a rap star! ppl get this all confused bcuase of the labels at the record store. hiphop is artist like Common, Mos Def, Kanye, Weezy, Jay Z, Nas, etc. they have stories to tell. not jus say s*** on the ~#$.

You have to be one of the biggest buffoons on here. Ice-T is one of the greatest–if not the greatest–story-telling Hip-Hop artists of all time. Even Ludacris gave him props in a song.
Soulja Boy is not a “Pop Star,” an “entertainer,” an “artist” or anything. No, he’s not from Atlanta, and I doubt that he’s only ‘17.’

I agree that the way he is going about it is all wrong but Ice T has a point hip aint what it use to be it is all about shaking your but and dancing not real stuff. Like in the past. That is why people were sleeping on people like Common cause he was talking about life issues. When Common changed a little and got beffer and made faster paced songs he got the respect he deserved.We need less dancing and more hip hop.
