The Future of Hip Hop?? You decide….. I’m far the type of person to influence ones decision, but I REALLY think you guys need to take notice to this fresh ATLien hailing from the home of T.I.’s, Grand Hustle imprint. B.O.B. a unique MC from ATL, GA has already garnered a significant amount attention without releasing one “OFFICIAL” offering to the masses.
With MTV coining B.O.B. as one of the hip hop’s top contenders to watch in 2009 and XXL giving him a slot in their ” Class of 2009″ issue several months prior, B.O.B.’s plan is right on schedule. His new video, “I’ll Be In The Sky” hit the internets earlier today, but Atlantic Records decided to throw a hissy fit about the leak, so you’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see the official version around these parts.
In the meantime, let me catch you guys up to speed. Below, you’ll find two DOPE tunes from B.O.B. as well as several links leading you to more greatness from ’09’s Rookie of the Year. ENJOY!

All can say, is that agree with NAS 100%. Why is every other word N this N that? What ever happen to rap music with substance?
It’s too soon to say, but I like that song, I’ll be in the Sky, it’s different & tells the truth. A lot of cats don’t wanna rap about the truth & something we all have to face.
bob is unique to say less he reminds me of mix of early kanye and andre 3000. bottomline dude is hot, is he the future we’ll have to wait in see. hopefully people take a chance in try something new.
i heard this kid on T.I.’s myspace like in 06 (top friend). It’s cool to watch artists grow into something bigger =]

I saw that video, and it’s ok, but it sounds completely like an outkast joint.
B.o.B is da truth real talk… He raps, he sings i mean what more can u ask for. Yea alot of people claim he sounds like or is trying to be like Andre 3000 but it doesn’t matter cuz he’s bringin real hiphop bak to da table… So pay close attention to this cat
