SoundOff TV: B.O.B. Performs at HOT 97’s, “Who’s Next” Showcase @ S.O.B.’s

Up next: B.O.B. If you’re not familiar with this Georgia native, well I suggest you start getting better acquainted because soon enough you’ll be singing one of his compositions.
Last night, HOT 97 and S.O.B’s held their infamous “Who’s Next” showcase. In case you’re wondering, “Who’s Next” is a forum for up and coming artist who are bubbling in the underground hip-hop scene with an extreme amount of potential to takeover the mainstream forum. Think of your favorite artist, and I can assure you they’ve probably touched the SOB stage at least once in their career!
Last night, Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records’ B.O.B. took to the stage with a live band and basically showed his ass. Though the crowd wasn’t as large as expected, but the handful in attendance showed great appreciation for B.O.B’s efforts, as did I.
To keep it funky, I was never a MAJOR fan of B.O.B., but he did a GREAT job reeling me in last night. “Haterz Everywhere”, though it’s a tad bit old, caught my attention. I mean I heard the tune beforehand, but the live presentation gave me a different appreciation.
Word around the blogsphere, B.O.B. just released his first official single “Nothin On You” featuring Bruno Mars from his debut album, B.o.B. Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray, today. Slide over here for the listen.
