T-Pain Says Ron Browz Doesn’t Know Squat About The Vocoder???

Uh Oh……..T-Pain is starting to name names….. FINALLY! This is the moment we’ve ALLL been waiting for. Since we’ve all moved passed the fact that T-Pizzle will forever heart the Vocoder, it’s time we start looking at the other acts who’ve employed the vocal trickery into their rapping/singing material. I’m sure we’ve ALLL voiced our opinions on who sucks at using the device and who’s actually good, but the man himself, T-Pain, has yet to reveal his thoughts, specifically, on who’s proficient and who isn’t….UNTIL NOW!
During a recent interview with West coast DJ, DJ Skee, Pain revealed his feelings about Ron Browz’s, “Pop Champagne” single….
Hmmmm, are those fighting words, or is Pain giving some insightful criticism to the producer/turned rapper? Regardless, I’m sure Ron Browz will have something to say about this sooner or later.
But wait, now that we know how T-Pain feels, what are YOUR thoughts? Who has the WORST song on Auto-Tune so far? Don’t be shy, there’s definitely a lot of material to choose from.

T-Pain of ALL people has the right to say something about autotune, Ron does use it wrong but the song is straight fire in the clubs…

Everyone is using Vocoders, Auto-Tune plugins like crazy……its not Creative ITS LAZY! In the end its all garbage…..the british call it “rubbish”…they do it for the hundreds….I do it (music) cuz I love it.!

The best will always be the original which was the group Zapp featuring rodger troutman. T-pain is geeting the props and that is cool but he was not the first or the best. Roger troutman was the man and was the best and Zapp by far has hotter songs than T-pain ever thought about. i personally think that it is a bit tired at this point. Especially all of the johnny come lateley’s.
if you rap rap and if you sing then sing. You cheapen your artform in the long run. You make money in the short term but the songs are not classics. No one plays anu of these raps songs after a year or so.
Please stop boring the word with these simple songs that speak about nothing and are about nothing.
I do agree that Ron Browze brings nothing new to this “fad”. He sounds average using it. It’s definitely not the worst because the song is bangin’(& I don’t even like Jim Jones). The worst though is Young Berg’s “The Business” hands down.
I think that lil wayne does a poor job using it too. BJut every thing he touches turns to gold.

You have to have an ear for melody, and judging by Ron’s perfomance, his ears are devoid of this ability. My music has grown popular due in part to my use of the Auto Tune plug-in, and I’ll be the first to admit, I am not a good singer but I know what I’m doing when using the effect.
