Introducing The Class of 2009….. The Class of 09 is a PROMISING one. They possess the confidence of the legends, but the restlessness of well, rookies. Some hail from the east, some from the west, others from the north, some from the south…either way, they’re bringing something new to the hip hop forefront.

That boy is SKY HIGH! Well, after the political smoke clears and the BS dust has settled, B.O.B.’s debut video, “I’ll Be In The Sky” finally hits the pages of Sound Off. If it were up to me, this joint would’ve surfaced on Monday during our Sound Off Spotlight of the ATL rookie. Dah well, better late than never, right?

Still haven’t figured out what all this B.O.B. chatter is about??? Rewind time and hit up my Monday post….RIGHT NOW! As for the video, that ish should speak for itself. I swear, if every new artists was this creative and interesting, music would be MUCH MORE tolerable.

The Future of Hip Hop?? You decide….. I’m far the type of person to influence ones decision, but I REALLY think you guys need to take notice to this fresh ATLien hailing from the home of T.I.’s, Grand Hustle imprint. B.O.B. a unique MC from ATL, GA has already garnered a significant amount attention without releasing one “OFFICIAL” offering to the masses.

With MTV coining B.O.B. as one of the hip hop’s top contenders to watch in 2009 and XXL giving him a slot in their ” Class of 2009″ issue several months prior, B.O.B.’s plan is right on schedule. His new video, “I’ll Be In The Sky” hit the internets earlier today, but Atlantic Records decided to throw a hissy fit about the leak, so you’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see the official version around these parts.

In the meantime, let me catch you guys up to speed. Below, you’ll find two DOPE tunes from B.O.B. as well as several links leading you to more greatness from ’09’s Rookie of the Year. ENJOY!
