Hip Hop Lives In The South…..It seems like endless amounts of music is just popping up all over the place around these parts, huh? Well, the big homey, DJ Prestige, just dropped off this NICE exclusive cut from the King himself and I must say, this is a nice lil heat rock.

The Three Headed Monster Is In Full Affect! I’m honestly scared for the ENTIRE recording industry right now. To have THREE of the biggest hip hop artists on ONE track is probably the most frightening thing for the competition since S.L.U.

When was the last time you heard Em spit a verse? When was the last time you heard Dre spit a verse? Hell, when was the last time you heard Em, Dre, & 50 spit on the same song together? Unfair? Nah, that’s an understatement in regards to what they’re about to do to hip hop.

“Crack A Bottle”, which was leaked a couple weeks ago sans the vocals of Fif and Dre, looks like it’s headed towards “first single status” since Em is hard at work on his newest offering, Relapse. Despite not having a release date, Em has been working profusely on the set which will include more collaborations from the “Three Headed Monster” conglomerate.

First THAT….now THIS????? Wheeeeew, this IS the year of the AFTERMATH!

As promised….Remember yesterday in my ramblings about the 4th Quarter party about Fiddy hitting the masses with a new taste of Before I Self Destruct sometime this week? Well, that time has come! 50 and company (rumored to be produced by Dr. Dre and Scott Storch) are back in action with a new (not sure if its the official one) single, “Get Up”.

Though it’s only a preview of the track, “Get Up” sounds kind of promising, mostly because of its production. I remember last year when Fif dropped like 9546456543 singles from Curtis before he accumulated an actual buzz for the project. Judging by the soundscape on this track, that might not be the case this time around.

Fiddy finally adds his political commentary, sort of!

Word Fiddy….this is how you get our attention, lol? I’m guessing this is just a sly warning shot that Fif is gearing up for his run with, as he likes to call it, “aggressive contnet”. It’s obvious Fif wants another shot at in squaring off with Mr. West, but since ‘Ye does what he wants, when he wants, that’s not happening this year.

Judging by the production, it’s simplistic patterns and his worthless chitter chatter toward the latter parts, this probably won’t correlate with his new offering, Before I Self-Destruct, and it sure doesn’t scream “promo single”. I’m assuming this is just a nice lil PSA to inform us that the three headed monster (Dre, Fif, Eminem) are back in the lab cooking up a winter product for us.

Detox…..DONE???

WHAT??? Did I read correct…Detox is COMPLETE???? Word around town is that the LONG AWAITED Dr. Dre, Detox LP, has finally been wrapped up….well, according to Snoop Doog it has. Though we’ve heard many of time that this album was closed to being finished or actually completed, this is the highest any artist affiliated with Dre spoke of the project. Snoop told Rollingstones.Com, “I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off. I see what he got them waiting for, it’s on and poppin’,”

Not only is Dre prepping the release of the most HIGHLY anticipated album of our hip hop chronicles (sorry Wayne), but he’s also applying his golden production touch to Snoop’s next project. YESSSSSS! Snoop and Dre together again! Now only if we can get Jay and Dame back together, this world would be a bit more tolerable.

How long have you SoundOffer’s been waiting for Dre’s, Detox album? Will it live up to the hype or go straight down the drain? It’s still not 3pm, let’s get it cracking ladies and gentlemen!!!
