Now I’m not saying supporting your favorite musicians is bad, but by the looks of this video, it’s not the “POPULAR” thing to do. If you’re not familiar with these individuals, The Real are made up of two brothers who poke fun at everything and anything hip hop. Have some been offended by their witty commentary??? Of course they have, that’s the point of their work, but in same sentiment, it’s all in good fun.

On this go round, Eric and Jeff (The Real) have taken to the streets of NYC to SoundOff on why buying albums just isn’t the way of the music world nowadays. If you’re familiar with THIS PSA, then the one below should strike the same nerve. ENJOY!

 Unknown for it’s hip hop roots, Washington DC has produced it’s first OFFICIAL (IMO) hip hop shining star. DC Native, Wale, officialy announced last night on DC radio station, 93.9 WKYS (Whas good Angie Ange?)  that he’s inked a joint venture deal with Allido Records and Interscope Records.

Estatic about the prospect of being propelled on a national level, Wale said of his new partnership with Interscope Records          “Look at thier track record. Dr. Dre, Em, 50, Pharrell, Timbaland, Soulja Boy, Black Eyed Peas and the list goes on.”

His yet untitled debut album is rumored to feature contributions from Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Kanye West, Pharrell and a bevy of others, which will be released this coming fall. Mark Ronson will take on executive producing duties for the project.
