You’d be a fooool not to listen to this…… If you’re familiar with our Class of 2009 post a few months back, then you’ll know exactly who Tiron is and what his material consists of. And if you don’t know who the Los Angeles native is, skate over to his MySpace residence and get better acquainted.

As for right now, it might be in your best interest to scroll down, download his latest offering, Ketchup (Mixed by DJ Low Key. No, that’s not me) and let it marinate in your skull for a bit, you won’t be sorry. Also, check out his video for “3 Drink Minimum”, an entertaining and detailed visual of what happens when him and his buddies get together for a night of fun. Jeez, that visual looks VERY familiar lol.

Feeling so good, I might run for MAYOR! If you’re an avid follower of SoundOff, you might remember these three from our Class of 2009 post earlier this year. And if you REALLY follow SoundOff, you’ll probably remember the video of them performing the aforementioned cut back at the Knitting Factory in November when they opened up for Busta Rhymes.

I can assure you this cut will be the ultimate “First Day of Spring” tune once the weather stops acting absurd. If I’m not mistaken, Pac Div reminds me of an updated version of the Fat Boys, but from the west coast. Not only that, I’m ready to take a flight to “Sunny L.A.” and run for “Mayor.”

Pac Div and Busta Rhymes get down at The Knitting Factory!Let me just say this now, if you missed the Pac Div and Busta Rhymes show last night at The Knitting Factory, put yourself on hip hop punishment for a WEEK! Not only did L.A. newcomers, PAC DIV, tear the house down, but they also gained the respect and admiration of EVERYONE in attendance (told you they were dope, Wexx). And if you dig dug what you heard in those clips below, no worries, you’ll be seeing A LOT more of their material around these parts really soon. Quick shouts to my homies from The Real (Fo REAL Fo Real, HA! )

As for Busta Rhymes, there really isn’t much to say. Not only did he remind us how dope of an MC he is, but his performance skills are TOP NOTCH; the BEST ever (Yeah, I said it….PROBLEM?). I swear, I love Busta Rhymes to the DEATH, but “Arab Money”, I can’t and WILL not tolerate it. Besides that minor setback, Buss-A-Buss ran through classic after classic without hesitation. He also announced his new album, Back On My Bullsh*t (B.O.M.B.) will be hitting the streets February 10, 2009. *Prays to the heavens that “Arab Money” doesn’t make the project.*
