I guess T-Mobile’s good for more than BlackBerry’s and Sidekick’s.

Maybe, I’m tripping, but aren’t parties with open bars supposed to be festive? Why is it every time I got to a function, a majority of the attendees act like they’re at a luncheon for the Kentucky Derby? Me, I wasn’t placed on God’s soil to answer those notions, instead, to consume open bar beverages and flick pictures of those doing the same.

Last night, BlackBerry, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Skillz (any party they host and DJ, I’M THERE!!) hosted a nice little bash over at Providence, celebrating, ummm (Janell, you wanna help me out with this lol), I’ll get back to you about that. However, the revelry was pretty fun. Though the festivities started out slow, LowKey did what he had to do to make things enjoyable. At first, I screamed at the fact I had to buy my own drinks, but that magic purple wrist band silenced those thoughts once I requested a Corona and got it free, word to my BlackBerry 8700, lol.

After a couple cold ones, I began courting the female species for some photo opps for this particular post. Most were easy to work with, but of course, as always, one specific female had to make things extremely difficult for the kid. “Why is your camera so small” she quipped . I thought, if she doesn’t shut up, stand by the rail and smile, I’ll go into cardiac arrest, IMMEDIATELY. I replied, “What difference does it make, I just forked over my business card”. Out of nowhere, this genius says, “BET doesn’t pay that much”. What the HELL does that have to do with you smiling for 3 seconds? After pleading with this snob for several minutes, she finally agreed. To make a long story short, any female obsessed with the size of a camera, just isn’t worth it. I should have noticed there was trouble in paradise when she hesitated during my, “Can I také a pic of you for our Bet Blog?” inquiry.

Nevertheless, last night was fun as hell. Watching a party goer get pissy annoyed because I was taking pictures with females he probably wanted to talk to, sufficed my fun needs. It also probably helped that I got recognized due to my blog, YouHeardThatNew.Com….that sh*t always rocks. Goooooood looks for the hook up Janell

Anyway, all you uptight party people lose your cool…..immediately. It’s just not THAT deep.

Oh what a night……

Yea, times are getting difficult. Gas prices are breaking through cement roofs, the economy is suffering drastically and jobs are being cut faster than I can say…hell, anything.

Little by little, artists are starting to address the significant change, and today I’m going to bring you a tune that basically says everything in a nutshell.
